Looking up I see a bright sun and clear blue sky. It's the first time in a week that I'm allowed outside the hospital. With the weather like this I can honestly say it's perfectly...

Depressing.

Honestly I want to puke at such a cheery day.

"Why can't I be raining?" I half groan, half whine.

"Well than it would be more depressing than a sunny day."

I whirl around to find myself facing a boy of around seventeen that I have never seen in my whole life. Brown hair and sharp jaw line drew people to him. Tall with broad shoulders and deep grey eyes that shone with amusement. A grey shirt hugged his stomach and revealed muscles underneath. Dark jeans and a leather jacket added to the look that gives the look of your typical bad boy. Though he seemed far from ordinary. He has a cold smirk on his face that told a hard story. His pretty face is ruined from such a ugly heart. I know who is good and who is bad. Unfortunately for me, I am drawn to the bad side.

"Who the hell are you?"

"Hmm. I have a lot of names. Most of them consist of cuss words though." His deep voice drones on. I can't help but let out a chuckle of amusement. "My given one though... is James."

"Hmm." I hum. "That sounds like a names of a good guy."

"Well I'm not a good guy sweetheart."

"Well that's good, because I don't like good guys very much. I'm drawn to... well how to say this nicely. Bad side."

Again he smirks. I watch him slowly scan me up and down. I don't blush, for I never have. He steps back. Before slowly walking backwards. "Once your done healing, I'll come find you. Until then sweetheart," he calls before swiftly turning around and hopping into a nearby mustang.

"Darci!" I hear Lindsey call my name. I turn with a sigh.

"What are you doing here?! I told you to wait in the car." Her voice come out panicked much to my dismay.

I roll my eyes before looking at her with a straight face. "Lindsey... when have I ever done something I was told to do?" I asked honestly for I could not remember the answer.

She sighs exasperatedly before shaking her head and walking towards her car. I watch as her defeated self slowly slumps and climbs in. I wonder what could possibly make someone so sad.

Well I guess that's a question for another day.

I follow her and leave the memory of being torn to pieces back in the hospital.

"No."

"You don't have a choice."

"Yes I do. You see, when you don't want to do something you simply say 'No' and don't do it." I say while making air quotes with my fingers.

"You're going to school. End of discussion."

"Like that's happening," I mutter under my breath.

So it was shocking when I actually complied. I guess the threat of replacing my clothes actually gets to me. I worked for these clothes and there was no way she was taking them away.

I slam the door as I exit the car. Things are not going as I planned. First I actually went to school. Then I get attacked by a wolf. What's next? The freaking apocalypse.

I make my way to my first class and am surprised to find it's empty except on student. Ignoring her, I took a seat behind her.

"Aren't you that girl who got attacked?" her voice came out small and timid.
