Chapter 5

Allison's POV

"Ally? Come on wake up Ally!" I heard someone whispering to me. I opened my eyes and saw Elle sitting next to me trying to wake me up.

"Elle?" I groaned.

"Ally! Finally! I tried to take you home, but paparazzi was surrounding your house." she told me.

I took in my surrounding and found that we were at Elle's house. I noticed my eyes were puffy from crying so much and it all came back to me. Jake broke up with me and I could feel my eyes filling up with tears again.

"Oh come on hun don't cry!" Elle said handing me a tissue. "He's not worth your tears." she said trying to comfort me. Even though I wasn't in love with Jake I still felt something for him.

"Thanks Elle." I said, trying to wipe away my tears. I gave her a hug and then went to the couch "So where is Ari?" I asked. I hope she is doing okay, she really liked Nathan so this must be really hard on her.

"I don't know, I've called her like twenty times and she won't answer any of my texts!" she said with frustration.

"She probably went home. We should go see how she's doing." I can't believe how calm I was acting after I found out Jake cheated on me. I thought it would be way worse but I was almost over it.

"Alright but you need to go change! Just go up to my room and pick something out-be quick though we need to hurry." She said while helping me off the couch.

I finally decided to wear her white shorts, a red sweater and red flats. It was a good thing we shared the same size.

We hopped into her silver car, and she drove to Arianna's house.

We got there within five minutes and we ran up to the front door.

*knock knock*

No one answered.

*knock knock knock*

Finally we heard the lock click and out came Gabriella, Arianna's older sister.

"Ally! How are you?" she greeted me, giving me a hug and then doing the same to Elle.

"I'm doing alright, I'm so glad to be seeing you!" I said with a cheerful voice.

"So, I guess you're here to see Ari?" she questioned, looking a bit down.

I nodded, hoping she would be home.

"Well she's up in her room, I've tried to cheer her up all day but she won't budge!" Gabriella said letting us in.

"Thanks gabs." I said and then ran up the stairs with Elle, finally finding Ari's room.

I didn't want to barge in so knocked. Finally, the door opened with a sad and depressed Ari behind the door.

I ran up to her, giving her a huge hug and Elle did the same.

"Ari, he's not worth it!" I said, trying to comfort her.

"Yea! He's a loser with no life if he would even consider going with Megan instead of you!" Elle said.

"I just don't get it! I thought he was happy with me." She sobbed.

"Well I guess our welcome home party didn't go good for either of us." I said, not exactly wanting to talk about Jake right now, but she had to know that I found out.

"You found out about Jake?" she questioned while trying to calm down her tears.

"Yea but don't worry about me. I think I'm over it" I tried to sound as cheerful as possible but it just didn't seem to work.

"Oh my gosh!" Ari whispered. It was loud enough for both Elle and I to hear.

"Whats wrong?"

"Adam" was all that was able to come out of her mouth. I then realized what she was saying! Megan... she was cheating on Adam! I couldn't believe that little slut! I didn't know what to say.... Adam wouldn't believe me-he would only believe Megan... unless...

"Ari! I know what we have to do! We have to-um-you know..."

"WHAT?!"

"We have to convince Jake and Nathan to tell Adam. He won't believe us if we tell him and Ari it's the only way! I don't want him to continue dating that who-"

"Okay! But how are we going to get Jake and Nathan to talk to him? I refuse to talk to either of them, and I doubt you will too" Ari was right. How were we supposed to get them to talk to--

"Elle!" Ari and I screamed at the same time. It was perfect! Elle could talk to them!

The look on her face was priceless!

"Wha-me? No! I just can't!"

"Yes, yes you can! Please! It's for Adam! Remember in like freshman year you had that huge crush on him?" I said remembering the fun memories of freshman year, Elle had the biggest crush on my brother and it was so fun to mess with her.

"Ally! I told you I'm over it!" Elle looked so embarrassed; it was so fun to bother her.

"Come on Elle! It will be fun!" Ari insisted.

"Fine! But you guys owe me.." she finally agreed!

"Yay!" Ari and I screamed and went to give her a hug.

So now we got Adam taken care of. I then realized that Megan always gets what she wants and it wasn't fair! All of my ex-boyfriends she always took away from me! All of my friends, except for Elle and Ari, she had to turn them against me. She even brought my brother into this little hatred she had towards me! She almost got me removed from the 'seventeen magazine' cover photoshoot because she always had to find some way to ruin my life! I just wish there was one thing she couldn't take from me. One boy that wouldn't fall for her slutty 'charm'- oh my gosh.

"What happened?" Elle and Ari looked at me with a confused face.

I think I just said my last thought out loud because they were looking at me with a strange face.

"Guys! I-Yes!" I jumped off the bed to face both of them.

"Ari, haven't you realized everything good that happens to us always gets taken away by Megan?" I asked hoping she would understand.

"Yes"

"Don't you just for once wish she didn't even exist or that she simply-didn't know who we were so she wouldn't be able to ruin our lives?" I asked with the biggest grin on my face.

"Yea." She said catching on.

"Carl! He wants us to go and live our senior lives as 'normal' students! Megan wouldn't even be able to recognize us! We can be stupid teens and fall in love, get in trouble, make new friends and Megan" I said her name as if it was some sort of gross bug, "wouldn't be able to stop us!" I finally finished my brilliant idea. I saw Ari's face lighten up, and Elle's too.

"That's a perfect idea!" Ari screamed.

"Yea! But that means you guys leave me again" Elle said with a sad look on her face.

"We will text you everyday! If all goes good there we can make Carl buy you a plane ticket to come see us!" Ari suggested. That was a really good idea too, and Elle was already living the normal teen life.

"Okay!" she jumped up and started screaming with us.

We were some strange best friends....
