Chapter 6

Ally POV

The next day Ari and I decided to call Carl and tell him about the news. He was so excited he couldn’t stop smiling and he told us that he was going to call the best makeup artists and hair designers in the US to come and help us look ‘like brand new people’. I was secretly really excited I feel like Hanna Montana doing this, but that was a lifestyle for her. This is just for one year so we can know what we missed.

 Just our senior year I kept telling myself. I was actually extremely nervous. We are going to school for our last year… everybody already has their cliques and friends. I’m not used to making new friends I usually just have Ari and Elle and everyone else is already famous so we get along easily. Now is like finishing something I haven’t even started… I let my thoughts slip once I heard my phone ring.

“Hello?”

“Ally! Come to my office, today is the day you and Ari get ready for your new year as seniors!”

He was way too excited…. It was kind of weird.. but this is just Carl being-well Carl.

“kay, I’m on my way see you there in 15”

“Hurry!”

And the line dies.

I went to go put on some flats and then head off to Carls office.

After a while I finally got to the building and went to floor 15, carls floor, and knocked on his door.

“Finally!” I see Ari say.

“well nice to see you too!”

“Okay girls, these are your hair stylist/designers. Let them do whatever they want on you, and do not complain. I’m not allowing you to leave until the makeover is finished. So… here we go!” Carl says.

“I am Bridget and this Elizabeth. We are your hair stylist, so I was thinking for you, Ari, beach blonde with blue eyes.”

I couldn’t help but start to laugh. I tried my hardest to hold it in!

Ari’s eyes widened. She hates having blonde hair. She needed it for this music video she was in and she hated it.

“Um.. I was going for something more… realistic. I think you should have nice dark red hair and just keep the brown eyes you have.” Elizabeth suggested.

I can see the look of relief in Ari’s eyes.

“Yea that sounds much better.” Ari says.

“As for you, I think you should have blonde hair and keep green eyes, just make them… greener.” Bridget said.

I really liked the idea because I have very light brown hair and I’ve always wanted it blonde.

“okay!”

“alright then… let’s get started.”

After what seemed like an hour we finished. I actually dyed my hair a blonde color. It wasn’t so light that it was like a white but it wasn’t a dirty blonde either. It was just the perfect color. Bridget gave me some colored contacts to make the green in my eyes much more…. Well green. I didn’t look like a completely different person yet. Now it was time for make-up.

Ari didn’t want to dye her hair or cut it because she had a beautiful dark brown hair. So she and Elizabeth decided to go looking for realistic wigs and they found the most perfect one! When Ari had it fully on, with her real hair completely out of sight, it looked so real! It was perfect.

“wow girls you both look great!” Carl cheered.

“Now it’s time for your make-up artists. You have to watch them do everything because this is basically what you will be putting on every day.”

“This is Erin and Kayla. They know everything about make-up and disguises so pay attention!” Carl introduced us.

“Okay girls, let’s do this!” They said.

Now this took much longer. We had to learn and understand everything they were showing us. It was difficult at first but then I got the hang of it.

Erin finally just finished my make-up and turned the seat around so I can see.

Whoa.

I look…. So….. Different! I was in shock. Carl said he could do it... Said he can make me look completely different and he did. I was speechless.

I turn around to look at Ari and she had the same expression. We look at eachother in the same shock.

“Oh. My. Gosh! Ally you look so… new!” she screamed.

“You too! Look at your hair and everything! Wow!” I screamed with her.

“Girls you look beautiful! Now to give you your fake IDs.” Carl says.

“You two are cousins and you are from Minnesota. Ari your new name will be ‘Sophia Wright’.”

“I like it!” Ari squealed

“Ally your new name will be ‘Miranda Miller’.”

Miranda Miller…. The new girl from Minnesota coming your way!
