Brittany's P.O.V
On the ride to school there was minimum speaking, other than the faint noise coming from the radio. As we approached the school my mom decided to start a conversation,
"So, do you have everything ready?", she softly asked.
"Yeah I think so." I said.
"Your phone, keys, books, money?", she asked while nodding.
"Yes, I have everything. Although..."
"No! I remember I gave you money this morning before we left,", she chuckled.
"It was worth a shot," I smiled."Alright we're here!", Mom basically screamed in my ear.
"Yay!", I told her sarcastically.
"Come on, maybe being at a new school will be fun.", she coaxed.
"I hope you're right about this.", I muttered while exiting the car.
"I heard that! And besides have I ever been wrong?"
"YES!", I probably screamed I must've looked really crazy.
"When?", she asks pretending to be hurt.
"Well there was that one time-", I tried but she started rolling up the window. I was about to knock on the window but she already sped off.
"Well here goes my first day at school,", I sighed while making my way towards the Hell on Earth.
