I wrote this short story based of the song Safe and sound by Taylor Swift. I wrote what was running through my head every time I listen this song. Sorry if I misspelled anything.

My insides shook as the footsteps got closer,but I couldn't let Sam know. I was his older Sister, of course I was terrified but I promised home everything was going to be alright. We hid in the shadows, running from the monster that chased us. We were the last from our kind, or so I thought. But he slowly finished them off. So as thoughts raced through my head, a tear ran down my face knowing what I had to do to keep my promise. Dusk was approached us, he shut his eyes. I whispered you will be alright. I ran into the darkness becoming the last sacrifice.
