~Chapter Dos~
I reach my house, my body is covered in sweat and tears. My father is stepping out of the house when he see's me, "Jessie? Whats wrong? Why arent you in school?" he asks worry clear across his face and in his voice.
"T-t-they think I'm retarded." I whimper and he wraps his massive arms around me, pulling me in for a hug.
"Why do they think that hunny?" he asks.
"I dont know, but Penny was writing one of her friends and the teacher got the note and read it aloud to the class." I answer, sniffling.
"Baby, its going to be okay." he says, determined.

After changing schools, my look, my attitude, and a year passing I'm finally what some may call normal. I sit in the car, watching the rain por down the window, like little diamonds. My hair has now been died from blonde to strawberry blonde. Today I wear a crimsony red colored dress that is 3 inches above my knee paired with fishnet stockings and black ankle boots. My dad pulls up in front of my old school.
"You sure Jessie? You may have changed but they might see you the same." he says with sorry in his voice,
"I'll be fine Daddy, I promise." I say, kissing his cheeck and getting out with my backpack across my shoulders. I walk into the school, whispers spread throughtout the halls, I walk to my old locker, yes, they allowed me my old locker back, and open it up, sliding my cell phone in my boot and grabbing my schedule and binder.
"Hello, you must be new." someone greets, I turn,
"Eddie!" I exclaim with a smile, good ol' Eddie stands there, a small hint of stubble on his chin.
"Have I met you before?" he asks confused.
"Its Jessie!" I replie with a smile.
"Holy crap! You've changed alot!" he says, I can tell hes checking me out. One tip, even if you are size C, go for the bra's that up you two sizes.
"I know, I realised if you want to not be taken as a fool you have to act like a winner." I say, memories floating past my mind.
"Well whats your first class this fine morning." he says, grinning.
"Study Hall with Miss Fisher." I say, reading off my schedule,
"Thats that same class as August, I'll have him show you," he says, eyes darting around the hall. "August!" he shouts, waving a hand.
A guy with black leather pants, an Asking Alexandria tee shirt and black vans walks up, "Whats up?" he asks Eddie,
"Who do you think this is?" Eddie says pointing to me.
"Nice to see you again Jessie." August says, turning a smiling at me kindly.
"Nice to see you to August, even though the last time we met you made me cry." I giggle, he winces.
"I'm sorry bout that." he says.
"Well can you show Jessie to class? You to are in the same one." Eddie asks August,
"It would be my pleasure." August says with a smile.
"By the way, both of you call me Jay-Lee from now on, you hear?" I tell them, they nodd.
"Lets get to class." August says, turning and walking in another direction, I walk behind him.
When we get to class I sit in the old seat I had sat in, quickly checking my phone.
'Head up, be strong :)' a text from my father reads, bringing a smile to my face.
"Welcome back Jessie." the teacher says with a warm smile, luckily none of the kids were in the room,
"Thank you Miss Fisher, its nice to see you." I say and then Jasper, the schools player walks into the room.
His sandy brown hair hangs right around the bottom of his ear lobes, his caramel eyes melting any girl who looks at them. He walks and sits in front of me and turns to look at me, "Hello beautiful, the names Jasper, whats yours?" he says with a wink.
"Its Jay-Lee. Or as some know me as Jessie Lee." I say, his face falls as if he was concentrating,
"Keep it secret?" he asks me in a hushed tone,
"Please." I say with a smile, he grins and kisses my cheek. I can feel heat creeping across my face, luckily he had turned around again. I look over to see August glaring daggers at Jasper, curiosity surges through me.
I sketch im my notebook random lines, then something I dreaded would happen happened. My pencil tip broke. Oh no, I broke the poor pencil, I look around, nobody saw my lip start quivering, I take in a deep breath and walk up to the teacher, "Miss Fisher, may I use the bathroom?" I ask her,
"Yes dear, be back in 5 minutes." she says to me with a smile and I slowly walk to the door, then rush as fast as possible to the bathroom once I get into the hallway.
I open a stall and sit on the floor and the tears start to flow, it takes a few minutes to calm myself down, but it works, I walk out of the stall and quickly fix my makeup so it looks like I didnt even cry. I flash a fake smile and skip out of the bathroom to class, I walk to my seat and see the pencil, a pang of guilt flashes through me and I quickly place it in my pocket, not wanting to see it.
