Chapter 10

GRAYSONS P.O.V.

I finally decided to ask her to be my girlfriend. She said yes. I was now dating one beautiful and amazing girl.

As she layed on my bed, we ended up making out. Our lips moved in sync. Her lips against mine made me get butterflies. It was perfect.

We were stopped by a knock at the door. It was Cam.

"Ethan and I are gonna go out for a while. You guys wanna come with?" She asked.

"No. We'll stay here." I said to her.

"Alright. Don't do anything to get yourselves in trouble." She said before leaving and closing the door behind her.

Cam and Ethan didn't even know that Brooke and I are a thing right now. We still need a way to tell them.

"Gray? You know we have to tell them sooner or later, right?" Brooke asked as she kissed my cheek.

"I know. I just don't know when the right time would be." I said back.

"Well we need a way soon. But until then, it's getting late and we have school tomorrow. We should get to bed." She said as she got under the blankets.

I layed next to her as we cuddled up for the night and fell asleep.

The next morning Brookes alarm woke us up at 5:45am. She tried moving, but I wouldn't let her. I just pulled her back next to me.

"Gray. We need to get ready." She said.

"I know. But I don't wanna." I said lazily and sleepily.

"Fine. Just 5 more minutes though." She said as she cuddled back up next to me.

We walked into school that day hand in hand. Ethan didn't really say anything or notice for that matter.

I walked Brooke to her locker. Which was right by our first class of the day. Science. As I was standing and waiting, a girl from my old school in NJ came up to me.

"Hey Gray. Long time no see." She said as she kissed me.

I looked at Brooke who looked like she was about to explode on me. Before I could say or do anything, she slammed her locker shut, and walked into class. I pushed Lizzy away from me and rushed in after her. I went to the back of the room where we sat.

"Brooke."

"Who was that?" She asked calmly. I could tell she was trying not to explode and cry.

"Just an old friend from the school I went to in New Jersey. She means nothing any more. I don't even know what or why she's here." I said to her just hoping she would believe me.

"Then why did she kiss you?" She asked.

"She apparently isn't over me. But I promise, I have moved on. You are my girlfriend. Not her. Okay?"

"You sure she means nothing to you any more?"

"Positive."

"Okay. I'll just, drop it then." She said as she calmed.

"Good." I said as I kissed her cheek.

After class Lizzy had found me once again. Why was she even here?

"So. You wanna hang out after school Gray? I have cheer practice if you wanna come and watch." She said to me.
