Mina
It was another beautiful day in the fae plane. Mina closed her eyes and breathed in the sweet air and twirled in the sun. It was July third, and Mina had been trying to persuade Teague to have a firework display tomorrow for the Fourth, but he had been so busy, he didn't have time for her.
"I guess I can't complain too much. I have forever with him, right?" Mina said to herself. Even though this was true, Mina still felt lonely without him. She missed him, actually, and yearned to see him and his smirking face.
"I'll go see him today. Maybe he won't be super busy!" Mina smiled and walked back into the palace from the gardens.

Teague
Teague was exhausted. After the war they he had caused, he was responsible to fix everything. Even though Mina helped Teague reform the fae plane, for the survivors and their families, distrust and hatred were a constant reminder of what he did, and Teague was determined to fix the bond between him and his citizens. So that, and being a reaper, made it hard for him to relax. Or see Mina.
Lately, she had been trying to see him and discuss some sort of things called fireworks. He had no clue what these were, but they sounded fascinating. He wanted to discuss them with her more, and if he was being honest with himself, he just wanted to see Mina. Teague felt like the weight of the plane was in his shoulders, and he knew Mina was trying to help him out by letting him work, but he just wanted her, to hold her, to kiss her. Even just for a few minutes.

Mina
Mina stood at the large door to her husband's study. She debated on wether or not she should open the door, wether or not he would be angry at her for disturbing him, wether or not she could bare to stand another day not seeing him. Mina sighed and knocked quietly.
"Come in." His tired voice called from inside. Mina pushed the door open with all her might and let out a grunt.
His desk was a mess, littered with papers and scrolls and books. He looked even worse, his misty white eyes had bags under them, and his dark hair was an absolute mess. His shirt wasn't buttoned correctly, but he still sat up straight and smiled at whoever was coming through the door.
"Umm, hello!" Mina tried being enthusiastic, but he didn't seem to buy it. Teague smiled a real smile and stood up from his desk. Mina walked over and looked up at him. He put his forehead on hers and closed his eyes. He wrapped his arms around her and sighed deeply. Mina stroked his cheek and giggled.
"What's the matter?" Teague slowly opened his eyes and frowned.
"I missed you is all," Mina kissed Teague's cheek. "I hope I didn't interrupt you." Teague laughed and kissed her softly.
"Nope. I was really just looking up ways to surprise my wife for an upcoming holiday." Teague twirled Mina around, causing her to stumble on her feet. Teague caught her with ease and set her back on her feet.
"An upcoming Holiday? What is it?!" Mina wasn't quite up to date on her Fae knowledge, so this was exciting.
"Isn't there that Holiday with the fireworks? What did it celebrate?" Teague furrowed his brow, and he squinted his white eyes.. Mina smiled and combed her hands through his messy hair.
"It's called The Fourth of July, and it celebrates the independence of my umm... old country, The United States of America. That's where I lived," Mina watched as Teague began to think about something deeply.
"Ahh, yes. I remember that war. Funny humans... Always something to fight about isn't there?" Teague held Mina close and breathed her in. Mina closed her eyes and sighed, enjoying the affection.
