As I entered campus , I turned the music off and took in my surrounding. When I came here for the interview , I didn't take the time out to look at how beautiful campus was. I mean , I've seen pictures , but the real thing was beyond gorgeous. I found an available parking space and parked there. Today I had two classes which were we literature and psychology , but first I had to check in with Dr. Robinson again because he said he had something urgent to tell me.
I stepped out of the car and made my way to his office. A few whistles greeted me as I strolled down the corroder , some men even tried to get me to talk to them. I just ignored them all. My only goal right now was to get both my degree and my PhD then get outta here. My education was the only thing on my mind right now and it'll be the only thing there for the next three years.
I entered the reception area and saw the same rude girl from last time popping her gum ; load as ever and patting her head. Involuntarily I rolled my eyes at her obvious unprofessional behavior. I walked over to her and tapped the desk. She looked at me with an annoyed look and I raised my eyebrow at her.
"Can I help you?"
The attitude was evident in her voice and I for one didn't see the need for it. Plus , honestly I wasn't in the mood for it either. The events from last night still had me a bit heated.
"Yes , I'm here to see Mr. Robinson. He's expecting me."
She popped her gum loudly and smacked her lips.
"Well its obvious your here to see him cause this is his office. Honestly, how can someone so smart say such stupid shit."
I chuckled and shook my head. One thing everyone knows about me ; I do not tolerate disrespect. Whether your a child or someone twice my age , I was not afraid to check you. I was two seconds away from slapping this girl.
"Um , sorry. Can you just tell him I'm here please."
I gave her a polite smile. Even though I wanted to smack her , I was more focused on my education and what'll happen to me and my good girl reputation if I fight.

It seemed like I'd been waiting for forever before Ms. Piggy decided to call my name. I swear its like she purposely kept me here so I would be late on my first day.
I thanked her and walked into his office.
His back was turnt to me but I could still see the top of his head which showcased a few grey hairs. If only he was a few years younger and not married with kids. Maybe , oh maybe I'd forget my morals.
"Ms. Adams are you listening to me?"
Snapping out of my trance I saw Dr. Robinson giving me a worried look.
"What was that?"
"I was just telling you that since your new on campus , I'd get my son to show you around. As a matter a fact you guys are both doing the same majors. He too wants to be a forensic scientist."
I could tell he was proud of his son just by the slight smile on his face and the way his eye lit up when he spoke about him.
"Oh. What's his name?"
"Donte. As a matter a fact he'll be here in a few minutes"
I couldn't wait meet him , especially if he got his fathers genes.
