~Haley's POV~
I was glad that Ray has finally come clean, for now cause he's still keeping secrets, secrets that he doesn't want me to find out
But that little conversation of ours was a few days ago, I was in school, sitting next to Henry, the thought of sitting next to Henry Hart reminded me of that boy my age who saved me the other day
And I still can't keep my mind off of how Ray knows Chloe, I hope after raping up season one of Kids in The Woods Ray won't even think about tying her up in a sack, and bring her to HQ
"Alright class, go home, have a nice weekend, and don't forget to read chapters 3 and 4 for homework", said Mrs. Anderson
"Hey Haley", said Henry
"Hey", I said
"So, you doing anything this weekend?", he said
"No, you?", I said
"No", he said
"By the way, word on the street is saying that you might ask Bianca out on a date", I said
"It's a rumor", he said
"Well rumor also has it that she might have a crush on you", I said
"So I've heard", he said
"So when are you going to ask her?", I said
"Now", he said
He walked to the middle of the hallway and just said that he likes her and wants to know if she's free this weekend
She said yes, and they planned on going out to dinner at some fancy restaurant
I on the other hand wanted to spend the rest of the day with Charlotte, no need to stay with a place full of men stinkin up the place with their sweaty pits and underwear sometimes laying on the floor in the man-cave, also in my room on Friday nights
And if I'm out for more than an hour on Fridays, they get to do all the cleaning
"Hey Char", I said
"Oh, hey Haley", she said
"So, do you wanna watch a movie on Netflix?", I said
"Sure! Does my place sound fun?", she said
"Sure", I said
~At Charlotte's house~
Me and Cahrlote were watching Avengers, Age of Ultron in her room on her flat screen tv, and for some reason she was eating a lot of cookie's and pop-corn, along with a king sized drink of diet coke
"So.....Char", I said
"Yeah?", she said
"Uhhhh.....", I couldn't explain why she was eating so much
Then we heard a noise from downstairs
"What was that?", I said
"I don't know?", I said
We went back to watching our movie, when we heard a glass break in the kitchen
"Is that your uncle Rosco?", I said
"He's been laying on our couch since Christmas, plus he's taking a nap and doesn't bother to hear a thing when he is sleeping in his own world", she said
"Your parents? ", I said
"No, they won't be back by midnight", she said
"I'm going in", I said
I got a bat from Charlotte's closet to hit whoever broke in
"I'll go see if everything is ok while you try to call Captain Man or somebody", I said
When I went downstairs, all the lights were shut, I tried to turn on every switch, but somebody in the garage shut the power down
When I went into the kitchen, I was hoping that it wasn't the man in black again, he's been stalking me a lot
When I turned around, I saw a dark figure
"Who's there?!", I said
I had a tazer and peper spray with me, I got the tazer, and pointed at the figure who tried to dodge it
After a few dodges I got him, Charlotte came downstairs and i was to watch him while she will go to the garage to turn the power back on
After that we unmasked who was under that black mask
Turns out it was some random criminal Ray was trying to capture for so long
Then out of nowhere Captain Man shows up
"Hello dear children of Swellview, I'm here", he said
"You made it, right on time", me and Charlotte said sarcastically through our teeth
"I will take this man to jail, but first you young lady with the dirty blonde hair, may I have a word with you?", he said
I did what he said
"Why didn't you tell me you were going to somebody else's house?", he whispered through his teeth
"I texted you a million times that I'm going to a friend's place, but you didn't answer", I said showing him the text messages
"Ooooh, um.... sorry", he said, I groaned at him a little bit, then he took the guy and left
"But something just didn't feel right, that criminal, he didn't look anything like those guys at the Man in Blackd headquarters", strange?", I said
