September 2010
We had finally made it to London. A new start for our family away from our old life. Better jobs for my mum and dad, a better house and better surroundings for me and my sister Hannah.
She's just turned 13 and I'm almost 17 but we are super close and she's one of my best friends and I can tell her anything. I always take her out shopping and to the cinema, I just want to make sure we make the most of our youth together because I'm scared when we grow up and have families I won't see her as often as I would like. I'm so concerned about the future, it's crazy.
Anyway, we moved into our new house about 3 months ago and it is beautiful. It is so much bigger than our last house, it's got 4 floors and a massive garden which I love because I have always loved sitting in the grass thinking about life.
I had finally unpacked all of my boxes in my new room which was up in the attic and it was amazing. So vintage and classy, just how I like it.
Because I had finally finished unpacking (yes I am aware I take ages)
dad decided to take us all out for our dinner in the city centre and for a look around and I was so excited.
It was very warm out so I decided to wear my long purple skirt and a white vest with my gladiator sandals with my sandy blonde hair in beach waves down my back.
We headed in on the tube and it was so much fun, I get a bit crazy with my sister on public transport and start singing and laughing (more like cackling in my case) and everyone was watching us but I didn't care. I was having so much fun.
We walked along the streets of London as a family towards the restaurant when suddenly my skirt was stood on and I went flying backwards.
Well done Cassie you absolute twat.
I fell down on my bum but the ground wasn't concrete.
In fact it wasn't the ground at all.
It was a person.
Shit Cassie, what have you done? You are an embarrassment to the entire world. Why do you ever leave the house?
I quickly scrambled up hearing somebody saying 'ow' to themselves behind me.
'I'm so so sorry about falling on you, I hope you're okay?' I apologised as I stood up sorting my skirt, not really paying attention to who I fell on. I didn't want to make any eye contact because it will be so awkward and they'll probably shout at me.
'No no, it's my fault babe. I caught my foot on your skirt, wasn't paying attention to where I was going' the most beautiful Irish accent replied. A boy's Irish accent to be exact. Do I turn around? I want to see who it is.
I slowly turned my head to have my eyes met with the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen in my life.
I just stared at him, his face could have been made by gods. He was gorgeous. Bright blonde hair, and such a cute smile. I felt like a right weirdo just looking at him.
'Wow' I thought to myself.
'Wow what?' The boy replied. Oh shit I said that out loud. I am such a strange person OMG.
'Emmm eh nothing. Sorry again' I replied still staring at him. I honestly thought my legs were going to turn to jelly. He was the most beautiful human I've ever seen in my life.
I was still staring when I heard a cough come from behind me. I turned around to see my mum smirking at me.
Shit. I forgot about them.
'I eh emm I eh have to go. Sorry again' I said turning from the beauty in front of me to head to the restaurant. My mum laughing her head off and my dad and sister nudging me in the sides. I have such an embarrassing family.
'No worries, see you later beautiful' I heard as we walked away.
What?
Did he just call me beautiful?
I don't even know him.
No it can't have been about me, surely?
