Chapter 1: Dragons Disapear

It was about seven years ago. I can remember it just like it was yesterday. How could I forget? It was the day when... my dragon... disappeared. My older sister Angie and I woke up one day to find out that our dragon Sapphire was not there.

I remember asking Angie what's going on or where did Saphira go? Angie just looked at me and said "I think it's time for us to go our separate ways."

"Wait, what?" I replied "can't I go with y-" Angie cut me off, "No! Saphira is gone Katie, and she's not coming back! I should have known this would happen!" Angie sighed. "Look, we need to go our separate ways. I think it will be best for you." She said "But where will you go? Where will I go?" I asked nervously.

"I can give you all the money you need. I've saved up over the years, I won't need it. Take it and travel to the next town. Once you get there you can find a place to stay and start your own life. As for me I'm going the opposite direction. I have things I need to take care of, maybe one day we'll meet again." My older sister explained

I looked at my sister not knowing what to say. Angie just looked back at me and said "Katie it's ok you'll be fine. Besides you have hope with you." I looked down at my pink and white flying cat. Hope gave me a slight smile, and we knew there was no use changing her mind. Angie's all brown flying cat cut in, "And your sure this is the best idea?" Angie looked at her cat, pushed her short black hair behind her ears, and looked back to her cat and said "yes." After that she said goodbye to me and wished me luck.

All I remember next is her walking away into the distance with her cat Callie and I knew that I had to go to the nearest train station to head to the next town with hope. I was nine back then, and my sister was eleven. It seems like forever ago but I still remember it very clearly.

Authors Note: Hey guys! I'm new at writing on here but I thought it would be fun! This is my first story, which is about fairy tail. I added new characters that I created and made a plot I thought would fit the story. I hope you guys enjoy my writing! If you guys have any constructive criticism for my writing (to help me improve) then please comment! I know I'm not the best so the more help the better (lol)! Also I'm sorry this chapter was short, I just wanted to give a good idea about the main character before really getting into the story. Also no hate comments please, I'm trying my best! I will try to update this story every week, or every two weeks depending on how much I write everyday.
