The sun was shining through my window, the air surrounding me was hot and thick. I opened my eyes being blinded by the sun. I rolled over facing my back to the sun and went on my phone. There was hundreds of messages and calls from Harry and i was totally confused until i remembered what had happened last night. I groaned as i threw my phone onto my bed then decided to hop out and get myself ready for the day. As i looked at my phone one more time before throwing it away i saw that I had woke up late and i only had 20 minutes to get ready for school. Great. Because i was already late I decided not to have a shower and to just put my clothes on.
I put on my under wear and then my black jeans, as always, i put on a creamy peach coloured top and then tied a grey jumper to my waist, which then followed by me slipping into my old school vans. After putting on deodorant and then some perfume to cover what ever smell was radiating off me i headed to my dressing table. I covered my face in my daily make up adding extra concealer to the dark circle under my eyes even though it didn't really help. I raced to the bathroom, brushed my teeth and left my hair in its natural state and then headed down stairs. I could hear my brothers car running so i grabbed my bag and some food from the kitchen then raced out the door. I know i should have my licence before my brother but to be honest im just to lazy. My brother drove us to school and as we arrived we were 5 minutes late and so i grabbed my bag and headed to the office. As i was walking into school i could feel my anxiety rising and i was nervous to see how Harry would react. Was Harry going to be normal?, Does he even like me?, Does he not?, Are we going to be friends? i just didn't know and i was a little scared to find out...
Since i was late to school i went and got my late note from the office but skipped home room so i could head straight to my first class. I needed to find Ruby and Eva because i had to tell them my embarrassing news... As home room finished up students filled the halls and in the distance i saw Ruby and Eva come out to come to their first class. I ran up to them and gave them a big hug causing them to scream and stop the other students from getting through the door because they were scared. "Guys guess what happened to me? it was so embarrassing... i cant believe it happened, i cant believe i went for it... I tried to kiss him and he stopped me but like after it looked like he was going to go along he stopped me... He was giving me all the vibes like there was a sign above him saying go, go, go but then when i.. when we were about to he just got up and said he couldn't and so i left and got his sister to take me home...." the words just came tumbling out. Their faces were confused.
"First just give us a proper hug Mere, we can talk about your situation later." said Ruby trying to make me take deep breaths. I nodded and then gave Ruby and Eva a hug separately. "So i dont get a hug?" i heard Harry's voice and turned around. Shit! how do i react... wait...He talked to me? Asked if he was going to get a hug? What was happening?. I looked up at him and i didn't know how to feel.. Was i angry, embarrassed, disappoint, scared, nervous.I just didn't know! He opened his arms and embraced me in a hug. What was happening. i just stood there like a limp noodle and when i looked behind Harry I saw Eva and Ruby just smiling. I look up at harry and our eyes stayed starring for a couple seconds before he decided to make a joke. "Dont kiss me now love, We know how that ended up last time!" he said smirking.There was a couple seconds of awkwardness that everyone could feel even Ruby and Eva before I pushed away at him. A frown covering my face as i crossed my arms. "Harry its not funny..." i said while turning my back at him. "Meredith please... come on.. i was joking." he said while hugging me from behind. "I know but still Harry." I replied as i pulled his arms off my waist. "Come on guys lets go to class." said Ruby. As we were all walking to our first class Harry pulled me aside behind a locker out of now where. What was this boy doing."Harry what are you doing we have to go to class..." he just stared at me waiting for me to shut up. "Can you please meet me by my car after school! im taking you out!" he whispered. "okay but why are you whispering?" "I dont know.." he replied. I nodded my head and said okay and then we walked into our class like that never happened.
