Aphmau's P.O.V

I never wanted this to happen, I didn't expected this to happen. All I wanted was you back home, with me and the kids. We were suppose to go to the beach remember? An escape from all the stress, just you, me and the kids. Now what? You're in this bed, sleeping... No, unconscious, holding on for dear life.

"Aphmau? The doctors wants to see you" a voice from the door said, interrupting my thoughts.

" Yeah, I'll be there in a sec. Katelyn " I wiped my tears away as I held his hand and kissed him on the cheek, walking out of the room.

Hospitals.... I hated hospitals, he knew that I hate this place yet now I've been here for quite a while now.

I approached the doctor along with Katelyn, Dante, Travis, Kawaii ~ Chan, Vylad, Nicole, Lucinda, Aaron and... Zane?

"So now that you're all here I could say the news now. The patient on room no. 134 is in a better condition than the other one, record shows that he has a broken arm, some bruised ribs and he might be using some crutches since he has a swollen leg, which to think of the accident, that condition is already a miracle." He paused as he flip through some pages.

"Doc, W-what about t-the patient in the r-room behind u-us?" Dante asked in a shaky voice, gripping Nicole's hand who was right beside him.

"Oh the other one yes. Hmmm let's see.... Oh... Oh..." The doctor's expression turned into a sad one.

"W-what is it doc?" Katelyn asked next, fear painted her aqua eyes.

"The patient in that room seems to be in a... Comatose. It seems his head a strong impact in which his head was bleeding when he was brought here. I'm afraid he lost a lot of blood which made the case worser seeing as he was suffering anemia and -"

"Wait, he's suffering anemia?" I asked the doctor. He never told us that he was suffering with anemia. He was always so quirky and happy, he wasn't showing any signs of weakness or of that his sick. Had he been hiding this the whole time?

"I see, you all clearly don't know huh? Doctors like me would just think that he forgot to tell you or that he doesn't have any family member to tell, but knowing that he has already taken a check-up, then personally I would think he just didn't want to tell you since he doesn't want you all to worry about him. Now if you need anything, just meet me at my office and from time to time we'll keep you all updated on their conditions. Good day." He went to check on the other patients, leaving us to think about the dreadful news we just heard.

"C-comatose?" Lucinda was the first one to react as she sits back on the chairs, burying her face in her hands, her shoulders shaking, indicating that she was crying.

Dante soon followed as he quitely sob in his seat, still gripping Nicole's hand who has tears running freely on her face, saying soothing things into Dante's ears. I sat down next to them, just enough so I could hear their conversation.

"Calm down Dante, he'll be alright.... Stop crying, please?" I heard Nicole say to Dante who's now raising his head to meet her eyes.

"How could I not Nicole? He's like a brother to me! He's my only family, he was there at the time right after when my real brother Gene left me homeless! So how could I not Nicole? Tell me, how could I not?" As more tears flows down his face, all his bottled-up emotions are now making its way to the surface.
