"Yujin shii, can you come over for a second?" The manager of the cafe called her over from his office.
Yujin nodded and walked over to the office.
"Yujin shii, can you do me a favor tomorrow?" The manager asked.
"Yes. What is it, manager-nim?" Yujin asked.
"We will have a new staff tomorrow and I want you to show him around and teach him. Will you be able to do that?" The manager asked her.
"Okay. Sure. I'll do that," Yujin smiled.
"Thank you. You can continue with your work then," The manager smiled and pulled out his phone to call someone.

"Hello? Hyung! Did she say okay??" The impatient voice asked.
"Yes. She did. Kookie ah, why did you suddenly want to work here anyways? Usually when your mother asked to work for me, you quickly reject. Didn't you have a freelance job with your group members?" The manager asked him curiously.
"I just want to help her ease her burden. She have some trouble paying her fees. Besides the tuition that she tutored me were not enough to cover her school fees," Jungkook told him.
"Helping is good but don't do it excessively. Talking about helping..isn't this the first time you are helping someone?" The manager smiled mischieviously.
There was a pause on the other side of the line and the manager called his name multiple times. And the thought struck him.
"You like her, don't you cousin?" The manager guessed.
"So what if I like her? It's natural for a guy to like a girl am I right?" Jungkook said.
The manager laughed and Jungkook quickly went to hang up as soon as he said thanks for giving the job to avoid more questions.
After the phonecall, the manager laughed to himself and went out to help his employees after that.

On the other hand, Jungkook looked happy as soon as Yujin will be his mentor for his first-time part time job. He lied on his bed and smiled to himself and thought of the days that he will be working together with her.

The following day in school, Yujin was walking towards her class when she felt someone walking beside her. She stopped and turned to face that person. Jungkook smiled towards her and waved hello. She then looked around the linkway of the school and saw a few of the girls glaring at them. Then she continued walking but walked a little further from him. Jungkook tried to close the gap till they reached their class. She looked around the classroom and saw an empty seat beside her classmate who was sleeping but as she was about to approach that seat, it was quickly taken by another classmate. Yujin then looked around the class again and saw another empty seat. She quickened her feet. As she was about to walk towards it, someone pulled her hand and was dragged to two empty seats beside the window at the back of the class.
"Sit here with me," Jungkook said after both of them settled down.
"But I want to sit -," Before she could even finish his sentence, Jungkook cut her sentence,"Are you trying to avoid me?"
When she heard that, she swallowed hard and tried to find excuses,"Well..I..I just..feel like sitting beside...Sam."
Yujin blurted out Sam's name who she saw an empty beside him.
"Sam? That rebellious guy over there? Someone as quiet as you..want to sit with him?" Jungkook asked in disbelief.
Yujin just kept quiet as she knew what he said was true. In the end, she just sat beside Jungkook for the rest of the lesson and he smiled widely to himself.

During lunch, Jungkook stayed with Yujin like glue which made the girls who knew him, green with envy. And that what made her uncomfortable due to their stares. Jungkook treated Yujin like she was his girlfriend even though they are not. After a while, a group of girls approached their table.
"Hi, Jungkook oppa," A girl with long straight hair called his name sweetly.
Both Yujin and Jungkook looked up and Yujin was awed by the girls' looks. On the other hand, Jungkook looked at them for a few seconds and then looked away. He turned towards Yujin and asked,"Yujin shii, is the strawberry milk nice? Can I taste some?"
She was about to say something when he just grabbed it and tasted it. The girls who saw that, looked at him disbelief especially the girl who called his name a while ago. But she tried to compose herself and said,"Oppa, are you free after school? We have cheerleading competition and we hope you'll watch us."
The girls waited for his answer but all they got was...
"Yujin shii, you have something at the corner of your mouth. Let me wipe for you," Jungkook wiped the corner of her lips even though there was nothing there.
Seeing that he ignored them, the girls felt humiliated but tried to compose themselves so as not to show their embarassed look. After that, they strutted off. When they were gone, Jungkook laughed lightly by himself which made her confused.
"You are practically ignoring those girls. Do you have any idea how humiliated they were when you ignored them?" Yujin felt sympathised by those girls.
"So what? They were obviously want attention. And I don't like attention seekers," Jungkook said while eating his bread.
After hearing that, Yujin just sighed and continued eating her food. Jungkook then rested his head on his hand where his elbow had supported on the table, to watch her eat.
