Chapter 3
I was half way through grade 4 and my birthday had already been. It was the end of the day and this was the last day at this school, thank god I hated the principal here. I said all my goodbyes to my friends and gave my teacher and classmates hugs. When I went to go hug Rhianna she was crying because I was her closest friend.
"Bye Rhianna, I'm going to miss you so much"
"Me too, make sure you call me some days ok"
"Ok"

When I went home I packed my bag for my new school. I was so excited to be going to this school, I couldn't wait.
It was the next day. That day everything changed for good. I got driven to school that day by mum and she told me that I have to go on the bus this afternoon.
"Mum thanks for letting me go to this school"
"Its ok I'm hoping you will meet new friends and see your old friends"
"I will"
Mum takes me to my classroom which was IU4C. I was a little shy until I saw my friend Jade. I had to sit next to Jade that day. Mum left and said have a great day. Then I got introduced to the class and I had to go get the message bag with a girl called Dayna but Jade took over. I was getting tired of Jade thinking that she could follow me around all of the time, I wanted to meet new people not just hang around with her.
"Jade can I please have some space I'm wanting to meet new people"
"But I thought I was your only friend"
"No I do have way more"
"Oh ok"
It was lunch and Jade had introduced me to her new friend Zoe. She seemed nice. Then along came my friends Zara and Sophia running up to me and giving me a hug almost making me fall over.
"Hey I can't believe you finally came" said Zara
"Hey how have you been" said Sophia
"Good"
At lunch I wanted to spend some time with Zara and Sophia but Jade followed me. I hated Jade following me around all the time.
"Jade can I please have some time with Zara and Sophia"
"Sure"
Finally she was letting me have some time with my friends. They showed me around the playground, sandpit and this thing they call the spider. We played on the playground because the spider had classes divided into it and the sandpit is only available at 2nd break.
Lunch was over then we got split up into math's classes. I was in the lowest math's class. I was with Jade and Zoe. Err why do I have to be in the lowest math's group especially with Jade AGAIN. Math's was really easy because I knew all of the things we learnt about.
"Bronte you are doing really good on your first day how about I move you to the 3rd math's group"
"Yes please thank you"
So I moved that day into my new math's group with Zara and Sophia. I was so happy. After the double maths lesson it was 2nd break and Zara, Sophia, Zoe, Jade and myself went to the sandpit. As we were digging Jade found a sand frog. She wasn't afraid of them at all. But all of us girls were.
"Jade why aren't you scared of frogs"
"Oh I grew up in the northern territory with Aboriginals and I really like wildlife. I have a pet snake, a pet lizard and a dog.
"Cool"
