Dealing With A Parent

It is not fun

Or easy

Or even an adventure

Because it's difficult

When you or it decides its time,

It could become easier

So it could never be forgotten

Though if you are successful,

It could forever remind you of your strength and triumph

Or maybe of your final freedom

As if it were something that only you could do

So you may think you know it

Or you may think you have seen it

But you never will until it has been you

Who has to deal with a parent

For the struggle is great

Although it is a different battle for everyone
