Pets!

(You may have realized by now that I have weird names for characters. Brynna is pronounced Brianna, Ashlee is pronounced Ashley, etc.)

"Okay Ashlee, I'm Brynna Italia. I will be your roommate." Brynna said in a very cheerful and bright voice. "Let's go get a school pet for you!" "A pet...?" I said. "Yes! Mines a cat!!! Whaddaya think you'll get for a pet?" Brynna said. " Oh I don't know, do they choose one for you or do you pick one? If I pick one maybe a phoenix." I said, shrugging. "Oh, they choose one for you. And you usually only get something like a phoenix if you have some sort of fire power." Brynna said, playfully laughing. We walked over to the pet center, which I knew was the pet center because there was a very glittery sign that said pet center on it with a cartoon of a bunny. We walked in and there was a girl wearing a blue and white striped shirt, jeans, and combat boots. She was also wearing a satchel. She was also accompanied by two beagles and a golden retriever. "Hey!" she said "My name's Stacy! This is Page," she pointed at the golden retriever "And this is Molly and Polly!" She pointed at the beagles. "Are you new here? I haven't seen you around here." Stacy smiled. Just then, a creeper walked up. Stacy looked scared for a moment and then picked up Page and Molly and ran off. The creeper took it's head off, only to reveal a human head. With flaming hair. The girl smiled. "Hello!" she said. A phoenix flew over and landed on her shoulder. "My name's Flare, by the way." "My name is Ashlee." I said. "So, what do you think you will get as a pet?" asked Flare "A fennec fox? I don't really know, a horse?" I said. "Well, let's see!" said Brynna. "Umm, what do I do?" I said. Flare smiled,"Just saying, but it is easier when you know what you want." "A fennec fox then, a horse is too big for a dormitory." I said "Do you like Firewing?" Flare asked. "What?" I said. "Firewing." Flare repeated,"My phoenix." "Oh!" I said. "Yes I do. She's beautiful." I said. Firewing suddenly sang a beautiful and sad song. "You must take really good care of her." I said. Flare smiled "It's hard to make her sing anymore." she said "You are the only one who made her sing in about 6 years." "Wow..." I breathed. "Well, let's see what you're pet's going to be, mind you, it's probably going to be a fennec fox." Flare said. We all walked over to the huge box. "Just open it!" Flare said, annoyed. "Ok." I opened the box and inside the box was an owl. "Hm, usually dryads only get owls. Do you have a relative that's a dryad?" Flare asked. "Umm, no? I live with my dad." I said. "Hm." Flare shrugged. "Let's go to our dorm!" Brynna said. And then we left for our dorm.
