George's POV

Paul asked if Jerry could come stay with me. Of course I said yes. I'm stiring some pasta when I hear a knock at the door. "Hi Paulie, Rings and Jerry." I greet them with a smile. "Hi Georgie." Paul replies. "Go put your bag in your room, Jerry." Ringo instructed. 

Once he had left Paul and Ringo looked at me. "He hasn't had very good sleep lately. We told a doctor and he told us to give Jerry one of these before bed." Paul handed me a bottle of pills. "Well at least he looks happy last time I saw him he wouldn't even smile half the time he'd cry but, he's got a broad grin on now." I said.

"He's just happy to see you and the fact that your his favourite and he knows you like to see him happy." We laughed t that. "Well he'll be happy when I tell him John and Julian are coming." "He will be." we kept laughing.

"Hey guys, I met a girl." I told them changing the subject. "ooooohhhhh." Ringo cooed I rolled my eyes. "What's her name?" Paul asked. "Olivia...." "Uncle George there's a bird on the phone for ya. She says 'er names 'livia." I grabbed the phone off Jerry.

He retreated to his Dad's and hugged Paul. "Papa?" "Yeah sweetie?" Paul answered. Then I heard Olivia's voice. "George?" "Yes Olivia?" "Who was the child on the phone before?" She asked I stared at the Starkeys. "My nephew." "Oh Okay." She replied. "Can I come over please? I had some trouble with my friend." "Yeah, okay come on over."

"Olivia's coming over."  "Okay. Well George we have to head off sorry can't stay long." "That's okay." We hugged and we said 'goodbye'. 

"So Jerry, How's school?" I asked he suddenly changed his smile to a frown. "Not good." "Why?" I tilted my head. "Jules left school went to another one so, now I only have one friend." I frowned too. I sat on the couch and Jerry sat on my lap. "What's your friends name?" I asked him. "Damien Clive. Well, ya see the trouble is 'e's annoying." he explained.

~Later that night~

"I thought 'livia was comin' over?" He looked at me. "Oh, yeah she had to cancel. Her Dad's in hospital." "Okay." He said. "Can we go somewhere. Like the park and go for a stroll." "Yeah okay." We went to the park. 

We held hands as we walked through the park. Then we heard a rustling through the bushes. "Look Uncle George." I turned around to see what Jerry was pointing at. There was a sheepdog puppy in the middle of the path.

Jerry walked up to it. "It's a girl Uncle George!" He yelled as he picked her up. "I wanna keep her. She can live on the farm with me." He said in delight. "What are you gonna name her?" "Martha."

"Hi Jerry." A voice came from behind us Jerry spun around and screamed...
