Pacifica stared at the pages of the three journals, slowly deciphering her arms and legs. She despised these cuts, and wanted them gone. She yawned, wincing as she stretched her arms out. "Gid," she whispered, glancing to her cousin's empty bed. She shook her head, placing the journals down as she stood up. Walking from the room, the girl searched for the secret ladder going up to the roof that Robbie had for breaks from the Shack's register. "Cuz?"

"Go away, Pacifica," Gideon said, and she saw him standing near the edge of the roof, gazing down like he was going to jump.

"You need to come inside," she said, taking her cousin's cool hand in hers. He turned to face her, and his sad eyes locked on hers.

"No," he said. "You want me to. Two different things."

"Yeah, I want you to. It's getting dark out, and we need to stay safe. The twins may be gone, but this town is dark and wild."

"Everything I think is socially wrong," Gideon said, looking away from his cousin again.

"Not to me," Pacifica whispered.

Ofelia and Brandon waited until the house was quiet to leave the room, and saw the place ransacked. The doors were open, the rooms scrambled through, then hastily placed back. Someone was searching for something, but tried to keep everything where it belonged. Will.

Mabel laid her back against the metal "bed", scowling at the orange of her jumpsuit. "Heh. How old're you, little miss shorty?" A woman asked gruffly, leaning down over the top bunk to peer down at the girl.

"I'm fifteen, darlin'," Mabel said, turning away from the woman. "And I am not short."

Dipper was down the hall from his sister, in a cell with Ghost Eyes. "Hello, little man," Ghost Eyes said.

"I'm not that little," Dipper responded shortly after, leaning against the metal bars of the cold cell. Ghost Eyes smiled to Dipper, knowing the two were going to be great friends in the long run.

Stanford Pines, after walking from the glowing portal, sighed as he caught the eyes of his joyful twin brother. "Stanley," he sighed, walking to his brother. Punching his brother in the jaw, he yelled, "do you know how dangerous that was?! You could've destroyed the universe! Did you even read my warnings?!"

"For one thing, yeah I read those warnings, but I was already SO close to getting you back that I could not stop there!" Stan wanted Dipper and Mabel to be there, so he could show that he did understand how important Mabel was to Dipper, and vise versa. He understood, because he had lost his twin. He knew, because he felt the same way with his brother. Both Stans understood. "I still missed you," Stan said, tugging Ford closer and touching their lips together. Ford was slightly surprised of the sudden kiss, for it had been almost thirty years since he last kissed Stanley, but easily returned the affection.
