Twisting thickets of overgrown plants entangled their path, as they trudged through the forest. Chelsea never kept her eyes off the direction she had seen the light, and Trevor whined behind her, complaining about how it was all of her imagination and nothing else. Chelsea just slapped his arm and the adventure moved on.

"Hey, what's this?" Trevor pointed at his feet, as the overgrown grass scratched his leg. The sun was setting, and their vision was being put to a test. Trevor squinted his eyes as he bent down and inspected the sod .

"It looks kind of dark to me," Chelsea replied, as she knelt down. "Wait... is that blood?

"Uh, hey, Chelsea? Want to head back now?" Trevor asked, as he stood up and dusted the dirt off his pants. "Please?"

"Tch, let's keep on going, stop being so scared of everyth-" Chelsea froze. "Okay... what was that?"

"What do you mean? Are you trying to creep me out or-"

Trevor took a few steps back, as he gulped, resting his hand on one of the old trees, bark peeling off onto the ground.

"No. I'm not trying to creep you out. I saw something in the trees... something white-ish? You don't think..."

"Think what?" at this point, Trevor had to control himself to not turn around and run away, as the sun was setting and petrifying, creatures were beginning to appear.

But Trevor had no time to question himself, as Chelsea was already bounding through the forest, investigating different places as she looked behind branches and shrubs.

"Okay, Chelsea... tell me what happened and what are those things?" Trevor demanded.

"Alright, well, I saw a light outside appear and fade away quickly, and so I went outside to investigate. While we were walking through the forest, suddenly blood-like stains appeared on the grass and I saw a white or transparent looking creature appear before me but disappear in a matter of a few seconds."

Trevor sighed as he rested his hand on his forehead. The day had just been too much of an adventure for him and Trevor strived to live an un-extraordinary life.

After walking for a few miles, Trevor saw something in the corner of his eye... behind Chelsea.

"Holy crap," Trevor looked behind Chelsea's shoulder "Don't. Move."

     "Wha- what is it?!"

"Shut. Up. Slowly come toward me."

"What's happening?! What did you see?!" Chelsea whispered, as she slowly backed into Trevor.

"Its. A. Ghost." As Trevor reached out his hand to stop the creature from making any further movements, he stood in shock as his arm didn't do anything; it just passed straight through it.

"Are you trying to play tricks again or-" Chelsea stopped midsentence, as Trevor felt a blur of wind pass through his ear. He had to shut his eyes from the smoke that rose from the cold, hard ground.

When he opened his eyes again, Chelsea was nowhere to be found.
