Aleck spent day and night working on the Phantom blade to add the attachment to it.

The man hardly slept due to the stress of getting it finished.

I would tell him over and over again that it wasn't a huge deal.

But again. He didn't listen.

He was determined to complete it.

The day he finally did, I found him asleep with his head on his workbench and he was snoring ever so softly.

"Aleck?" I questioned as I tapped him on the shoulder.

He shot up and looked at me, "I didn't do it!"

I smiled, "It's okay, Aleck. It's me."

He took a deep breath and quickly snatched up the blade, "I finished! I finally finished."

He sounded like a crazy man. His eyes were bulging and he stood up and I looked at it, "I can see that."

Handing me the blade, I held it within my left hand. It was a lot heavier then it was before the grapple was attached to it.

"Try it on."

I slipped it on and I clenched a fist, then opened it again in could feel the brown glove was well worn inside from Arno, "It fits well."

"Now, I know it is a lot heavier then your normal blade and it is also a lot heavier then the twins' blades, but yours is more advanced now." He smiled as he buckled the blade tightly to my arm, "Do you want to go and try it out?"

"Are you sure it will hold me?"

"Alesa, I'm pretty sure that Mr. Frye is heavier then you will ever be. If it can hold him, I assure you that you will be able to be held by it."

Taking one more look at it, I nodded, "Alright. I'll see what this can do."

"I also messed around with the springs inside the actual blade. The phantom blades within it will travel a lot farther then they did before." He smiled.

"Alright. I suppose I can go attempt to use it." I began to walk toward the front door, "I swear if I get hurt, it's all on you."

Aleck did a chuckle, "You won't get hurt. I promise."

I shut the door behind me as I walked out onto the streets, looking up at the bright sun and the top of the buildings.

The smell outside was petrichor, due to the fact that the rain had only stopped hours ago.

I took a quick look down at my blade and honestly didn't know how the mechanism to the grapple worked. Although, I did know how the Phantom blade was used.

I put the front of the balaclava up and the hood as I climbed up a building.

Once I was atop the building, I kept myself low, trying to spot a target to use the blade on.

"Come on..." I whispered.

Finally, a flicker of red walked past my vision and I got up and began to sprint my way toward it.

Multiple Templar's started walking into my vision.

I loaded the blade with the Phantom Blades and made sure that I listened to the click as it loaded each individual one in, and once I was certain they were in, I walked to the edge of the building, shooting the first person I saw.

The range of the blade was much farther then it was before as he said. It smacked a man right through the neck. I watched as he dropped to his knees and held his neck, his eyes rolling into the back of his head. The rest of the Templar's ran to his aid, and one of them caught onto me as I leapt down from the building. I threw a smoke bomb and all of them were confused as the white smoke surrounded us quickly.
