First clue

Leo's P.O.V

I woke up in the engine room with Calypso and the kids next to me

I smiled at them and than scanned the room

My eyes shifted to the table over there, There was something small shining on top of it

I slowly untangled myself out of the kids and Calypsos arms and walked to the table

Once I got there is notice that the shining thing was actually a key.

Maybe the key was a clue to where to find the kids.

Should I pick it up or leave it there and wait for the rest , to see what it is?

I didn't know what to do, so I left it there and I was ready to wake up Annabeth to see what she thought of the key.

So I went running to her cabin screaming her name

Me:"ANNABETH! ANNABETH! I THINK I FOUND A CLUE!"

I opened her cabin door ignoring the shouts coming from the other

Annabeth fell out of the bed and rubbed her eyes

Annabeth:" Leo? Why are you coming at 6 in the morning shouting my name?"

Whoops, guess it's a little early.

I was about to answer her when the room was filled by an angry mop of demigods glaring at me

Nico:" Valdez, Why the hades were you running around screaming at 6 AM IN THE MORNING! ?"

Piper:"Seriously repair boy, I was having a good sleep until I was awoken by you."

Than everyone started talking at once and I was getting frustrated, so the only way to get there attention was to shout

Me:"FINE GO BACK TO YOUR SLEEP. IT'S NOT LIKE I FOUND A CLUE TO WHERE THE KIDS ARE BUT IT LOOKS LIKE SLEEP IS MORE IMPORTANT, SO I WILL EXAMINE THE KEY BY MYSELF!"

Everyone than went silent and looked at me.

I didn't know if they were surprise seeing me shout or that I said I had found a clue

Annabeth:"Wait, you found a clue?"

I nodded and for a moment I saw a little hope in her eyes

Me:"Its down in the engine room at the table, I didn't know what to do so I came here trying to tell you to come with me and examine it, but it looks like everyone is awake so let's all go."

They nodded and I led them down to the engine room

Calypso and the kids were awake still sitting in the same spot they had slept

Me:"Look it's still shining."

Annabeth picked it up and examined it

Annabeth:"Its made out of celestial bronze, Leo are you sure you didn't saw anyone leave it here? Did you notice a shadow or something? "

Me:"No nothing."

Percy than grabbed the key and looked at it

Percy:"There's nothing written on it."

I than took it and it stopped shinning. Slowly, words began to appear at the key:

Legacy of fire will rome the mountains

To save the child of beauty and lightning

Than the words started to slowly vanish

Everyone was silent for a minute until Annabeth repeated the words so everyone could hear them

Annabeth:" Legacy of fire will rome the mountains

Frank :"What do you think it means Annabeth?"

Annabeth:"The first line is obviously directed to one of Leo's children. Either Julio or Tom."

Tom and Julio looked at each other than Annabeth

Percy:"The Second line , said to save the child of beauty and lighting, that must mean Lily."

Jason ,Piper, and Andrew looked up at the mentioned of Lily

Jason:"So let's go ! Let's not waste any time."

Me:"Wait there's still one more line. And we don't even know what mountains!"

Jason than nodded sadly and sat down

Me:"The last line said playing with fire is never safe, so please my dear player, play safe. I don't really like the sound of that line."

Travis:"What does it mean by that? I mean playing with fire? So that must mean that there is obviously a task involving fire and in order to save Lily one of Leo's kid would have to complete the task."

Katie looked at Travis

Katie:"Travis that was impressive."

Travis grinned and I looked at Julio and Tom

Me:"Tom, Julio, it looks like one of ya'll needs to complete this task . I think maybe you should go Julio, Tom is still little and he isn't really experienced with fire and still needs to.learn how to control it."

Julio nodded and Tom whined

Tom:"C'mon dad, I want to go! I promise to control my powers."

Me:"No tommy, this time it has to be your brother."

Tom:"Si papi."(That means yes dad.)

I than looked around and notice that both Thalia and Hazel weren't here

Me:"Where are Hazel and Thalia?"

Frank:"Hazel and Thalia are up trying to see if there was land ."

As if on cue Hazel and Thalia ran inside

Hazel:"We Saw mountains."

Thalia:"And I borrowed your binoculars Leo, and saw that there were monsters guarding the entrance."

Andrew:"So those must be the mountains were they have my sister."

Thalia nodded

Me:"Well, it looks like we're gonna have to kick some butt."
