Mikayuu - "Will Yuu Be My Valentine?"

Chapter 2

[note: in this chapter I added some Japanese dialogue phrases with English translations to make it easier to understand in which language they're talking.]

It's been two days since I discovered the fact that I might be in lo-lo...ve with Mika...

No it can't be possible... That means I'm gay right? Noooo wayyyyy!

I'm spending most of my time with Mika so maybe that's why I think that I love-lo.... Maybe I should try to talk to other people as well, like girls in my English course. Yeah that'd be no problem for me right. There's even a girl who's Japanese. I think her name was Misaki Hanakawa or something...
No way that I'd be gay...

The next day in English class

There she is. I wave at her and greet her with a loud "konnichiwa".
She looks around as if she wouldn't know that I mean her.

"お前花川だよね？！" (you're Hanakawa right?)

She answers in English.
"Yuuichiro....Hyakuya, right? I'm sorry but I'd appreciate it if we talk English. Since we have classes later"

..... I figured out that she was trying to say something about English classes...
At this moment I really wished I wouldn't only sleep during classes.

"おい。お前日本人だよね？なんで日本語喋らない？" (Oi. You're Japanese right? Why don't you talk in Japanese then?)

"百夜さん。今、アメリカに住んでるので、できれば英語だけで喋りたいです！
もしかして、あなたまだできないのかしら？" (Hyakuya-San. We're living here in America so if it's possible I only want to talk English. Don't tell me you still can't? )

This ... Girl... Is such a pain in the ass......

"Of ... Cos ...ai ....ken" I say, trying to sound as authentic as possible.

She just stares at me with her poker face and then suddenly walks away.

"You should learn more from Mikaela-San." she says

What ? Why does she mention Mika?

"待てよ！おい！" (hey wait!!!)

But she's already gone. Tch stupid girl... I haven't noticed that Mika is standing next to me.

"Oh, so you talked to Hanakawa-San?" He asks.

"MI-Mika! Since when have you been here? " I scream out.

"For a while. I was standing there and actually wanted to call out to you but you two were talking so... Yeah.. Anyways want to go eat lunch together?" Mika asks.

I'm avoiding eye contact and say: " I'm not hungry..."

I suddenly hear a bunch of girls screaming. Oh it's Mika's fanclub...
I step aside and they all start babbling in English talking to Mika.
As much as I know it's the usual stuff like "Mika, you're getting more and more handsome each day" or "Mika, how about we go out together?"
Yup stuff like this. But why does it bother me seeing them today....

"I go to the library, Mika. See you later" I say.
"Yuu-yuu-Chan but lunch???" I hear him calling after at me.

It's not like I'm interested in books. I just often kill time here. Mostly I sleep. The next desk is free so I sit down.

Someone comes closer to me. I look up. It's Hanakawa.

"If you're not going to study or read
any books please leave" she says. In English of course.
