"Miss Dallas?"The rude teacher called.

"Huh?"I shook my head.

"Do you have your homework?"His glasses hung down on the tip of his nose.

I quickly dug through my bag and handed him the crinkled paper.He gave me a smug look and went on.I pushed my hair behind my ear.It was fun to be on tour with the boys, but mom said I had to focus more on my grades.

I didn't like it but she was right.My grades weren't the greatest but really neither were my people skills.My only friend, my best friend, died in the shooting months ago.I mean yeah I grew close to Vega, but she's with Nash, and I'm here.

The thing about school was all you have to do is get through the day.Go to class, don't talk, do your work and go home.Although sometimes it wasn't that easy.

I shoved my books in my backpack and closed my locker.The breeze blew my hair.I dug my key out of my purse and unlocked the door."Mom?"I questioned.

I laid my bag down at the end of the stairs and went into the kitchen.A stack of mail laid across the counter.A thud came from the living room."Hello?"I called.

I slowly walked into the room.My older sister, Sierra, laid on the floor with a chair tipped over."I was trying to surprise you."She said.

I helped her up and hugged her tight."When did you get here?"I asked.

"Uh, two hours ago, I think."She said.

"Where's Cam?"She asked.

I walked back to the kitchen and put some pizza rolls in the oven."He's still on tour."

"I thought you were on tour with him?"She questioned.

"I was, but mom said my grades were more important."I rolled my eyes.

"Well that sucks, especially since you got that nice new ring."She smirked.

I jerked my hand off the counter."I know about you and Hayes."She spun around in the chair.

"Oh."I said.

"Mom is always a buzz kill."She said.

"Tell me about it."I groaned.

"But Cam does come home tomorrow."I got the pizza rolls out.

"We should surprise him!"She squealed.

"And how do you plan to do that?"I laughed.

"We should put up streamers and balloons, and order a pizza."She said.

I nodded while eating.

"There's left over stuff from my birthday in the basement."I said.

She quickly went down to the basement and I finished my food.

The door bell rang and I rushed down the stairs.I handed the guy 20 bucks and told him to keep the change.I grabbed the boxes of pizza and laid them on the counter."Are you almost done?"I panicked.

"Yeah, just hand me those streamers and I'll be done."She said.

I handed her the streamers.I heard the car doors shut."Their here!"I squealed.

We turned out the lights and hid behind the stairs.The door knob twisted and Cameron popped his head in."Surprise!!"We screamed.
