Chapter 22

Chris POV

I honestly love Asia so much. I don't want her around that crazy ass nigga. I love her too much to see her hurt but I'm gonna give her space for a while until she's ready to start over. I completely respect her opinion. I'm just gonna do me for now.

-2 months later-

Asia POV

These past 2 months have been hell. I haven't spoken to Chris and Ricky was continuously beating on me. He always accused me of cheating which made him beat me. He's been drinking more and more too. He also hasn't seen his kids. Honestly I regret leaving Chris for him. I don't know what to do. If I tell Chris he'll try hutting Ricky but I can't stay with him anymore. I decided to visit my girl Nicki cause I ain't seen my main hoe in a minute.

"Ricky! I'm going out!" I yelled. I heard only loud and fast footsteps approach. "No ya ass ain't." He said. I tried grabbing my keys and he pushed be to the wall. "I said no ya ass ain't." He snarled. "Yes I am you bitch get your ass off me befo-" he cut me off with a punch in my face. He continued beating me and I tried fighting back. I grabbed my keys and cut his face. He jumped back in pain. "One if these days, I'm gonna leave you." I said quietly.

He grabbed my arm and cried. "Baby no, I'm sorry. I just got some issues right now but I need you hear. Imma do better. Please don't leave me!" He pleaded. I nodded and got he mini first aid kit from he washroom. I cleaned my cuts and bruises and left for the bus.

I rang Nicki's doorbell. She answered and looked shocked. "Is that my bab- what the fuck happened to your face?!" She asked. I shook my head. She brought me to the couch. Nicki just stared at my face shaking her head. "Girl I hope you know I'm not playing witchu what happened." She inquired. "Look, Nic my boyfriend accidentally hit me while we were at the gym." I lied. She laughed sarcastically shaking her head smartly. "Don't make me call Chris." She said. "Okay. Okay. I'm dating a guy named Ricky and he's been going through some pretty tough times and sometimes when he's angry he-" (gco) "hits you? Oh hell no. I am telling Chris now." She said. "No Nicki please. I'm trying to leave him. I just need to find a place to stay." Sadly I moved in with Ricky. "Stat here then." Nicki suggested. "I couldn't. I don't want to intrude. You and Meek need your own space." I said. Nicki started dialing a number. "Yeah, Chris I have something to tell you." Nicki started. I tried grabbing the phone but she ran in the washroom and locked it.

Nicki walked out the washroom and I mugged her. "I don't care what you say, I'm just looking out for you." Nicki said turning on the TV.
I heard he doorbell and Nicki answered it. "Where is she?!" I heard. "Where the hell is she!?" I heard the voice of the man I loved💓. Chris. He barged in.

"Why didn't you tell me? I told you to stay away from his bitch ass the moment he hit you! His crazy ass could've killed you! Look at your face!" He yelled getting up in my face. I couldn't control my emotions anymore and started crying.

"Baby girl, I'm sorry don't cry." Chris said hugging me. " I love you too much to let you go back to him." He said. "Why don't you go back to your apartment?" He asked." I no longer live there. I live with Ricky." I said crying harder. "Well out staying wit me now." He said grabbing my hand. "Thanks Nic." He said. Nicki just nodded. Chris walked me to his black matte Range Rover and buckled me in. I fell asleep on the drive to his house.

Chris POV

I was driving home mad as hell. His nigga hit my girl. I am gonna beat his ass.
I pulled into my driveway and noticed Asia was sleeping. I went to her side and carried her inside. I carried her through my house and into my room. I soflty put her on my bed trying not to wake her . I watched her sleep and eventually dozed off myself.

Asia POV

I woke up and saw Chris wasn't there. I jumped outta the bed looking for Chris. " Chris! Chris?!" I yelled through his huge as house. I looked everywhere. I instantly thought the worst. Ricky. I quickly brushed my teeth and took a shower. I looked in the miror at my face. It almost brought up tears. I shook it off and put on some of Chris' boxers and my bra and one of Chris' shirts with the jeans I was wearing and hopped on the bus to Ricky's house.

I got off the bus and started making my way to Ricky's house. I started running thinkig the worse. I saw the door unlocked and opened it walking in. I heard cries of pain grunting. I ran to the kitchen and saw Ricky and Chris fighting. Chris was evidently winning. I ran and tried to stop it. Chris pushed me back. "Asia stay back!" He yelled at me. I didn't listen. I tried and tried. Ricky tried throwing punches, but Chris blocked mst of them and punched Ricky. Chris dragged Ricky by his collar and put his hand around his neck. This had gone far enough. "Chris stop! Your choking him! Chris stop! You're gonna go to jail!" He looked at me but didn't stop. "Chris are you listening! You can't go to jail and leave me here! What about Royalty! You'll lose us both if you don't stop!" I yelled. He instantly let go. I ran to Ricky and punched him in the eye and the nose. What a bitch wanted a bit of payback too.

I held onto Chris shirt and practically dragged him to the door. We got out the house and I hugged him. He looked a bit confued but he hugged me back. " Why Chris, why?" I asked. "Asia, I did it for you. He hurt you. I can't watch the woman I love be beat by a random nigga. " he explained. "Chris, we got to talk." I said. "Anytime. " He said. I nodded. We drove back to his house.

Chris grabbed my hand and pulled me into his living room to talk.

Chris POV

I honestly love Asia. I hope what she has to say will be good. I want us t to be together. I just need a chance to show her I can be the perfect guy.
"Asia-" "No, Chris. I know everyone makes mistakes and Chris I forgive you." She said. I honestly didn't expect her to forgive me. I guess I got caught up in the moment and I kissed her. At first she hesitated but she kissed back.
