Hello my lovely minions. I know it's been awhile since I have wrote on here but I haven't been really into writing the story right now but I will try to finish it soon. Anyway, the reason why I am making this author's note is to address something. I don't want to cause conflict or anything I just want you guy's opinion on the cause. Now on the title of my story I put BWWM. Now some people are saying this story shouldn't be called a BWWM because she is not fully black but mixed. The main character, Giselle, is mainly black but is mixed with a little Italian and Native American. Her mother is mainly black and Native American and her father is Italian. The reason why I say she is black because she is mainly black, like I said before, she has brown skin, she can relate to the black community, and she acts black. NOT GHETTO. I want your opinion on it. If you guys think that this story shouldn't be a BWWM story then I will take it down but if you don't care or think it should be one I will leave it up.
Before you decide here is my argument. There are many people in the world who are labeled as black but are not fully black. For instance, Obama, he is not fully black but he is labeled the first black president. Beyoncé, she is native American, French, and African American but she is labeled as black. Tia and Tamara Mowry, they are not fully black but they are labeled as black. Me, I am not fully black, I am native American and white as well but I am still labeled as black. On any application when you are asked about your ethnicity you are not going to get mixed you are going to get African American or black. You don't get the choice of saying you are mixed if you are a mixed black person. If you are African American you are not fully black yourself. You are mixed with something but yet I bet many of you still say you are black. So I ask if I should take off the BWWM or should I leave it. Please let me know what you think.
So I ask respectfully, after this author's not please don't leave anymore comments about her ethnicity. Remember this is a story. Please and thank you.
P.S My niece was born on the Jan 23rd a day after my nephew's birthday. That's her in the mm. She is so cute and tiny. I love her. Her name is Taeja Marie Tave. I wanted it to be Alexis but my sister said no. -_- but I still love her.
