The girl showed us around the town and there was nothing out of the ordinary.

"You can stay at my place if you want for the night." Giddy, the nickname we bestowed upon her, stated as we stood in front of a small cottage. I wondered how we would all be able to sleep in the tiny thing. "Stay here let me ask my sister." The girl quickly rushed inside the house and then she was out in a second, but older. Must be her sister.

"Hi I'm Alexis." The girl said looking over Jericho. "I hear you guys want to stay here." She didn't take her eyes off of him. I looked to the side laughing. The girl had to be around eighteen considering she was the owner of this house apparently. I could tell by the sign on the front door that read her name. She was staring hard at Jericho like he was a serious piece of eye candy.

"Are you okay?" The girl asked completely oblivious of the reason why I was laughing. I nodded pounding on my chest and pretending to cough.

"Just something in my throat sorry." I said stopping myself from laughing anymore. The girl's uncontrollable stare just proved how godly like night creatures really were. Alexis's gaze managed to move over to Dark where it halted again. I looked at both boys wondering what she was thinking. Dark had the more dark and mysterious side to him definitely which normally caught girls attention. He was a total bad boy. Jericho on the other hand was more of the good boy strategy thinker. He looked like a guy that could sweep you off his feet with one look. I wondered what boy Alexis was going to pick to stare at the most before we left.

Her eyes locked on me trying to keep herself from looking at the two. "I'm Red." I said sweetly trying not to scare the girl away with my stunning beauty. I wasn't trying to be cocky, it was just known.

"Jericho."

"Dark." She looked at both of the boys as they said their names and I could see the struggle in her eyes as she looked away. I guess I have definitely gotten used to the looks of night creatures. I did notice a lot of the people in the town staring also, even Giddy couldn't help herself but to look back on us a lot.

"Yeah, we're looking for a room for the night." Dark said trying to win her over. I slapped him hard on the back and I could see him wince.

"Alexis what are you doing?" A new voice came from the cottage and I could hear footsteps coming closer to the door. Another girl appeared looking like the other two but around 16 years old. She looked at the guys then looked at me, a smile creeping on her face.

"Sister you have to finish sewing I'll take care of them." Alexis nodded then headed off into the house. The new girl slammed the door behind her and looked at us her smile getting bigger.

"I knew one of you people had to come back sometime." She said sticking her hand out to me. "Alex." We introduced ourselves all over again and the girl didn't seem at all fazed by us.

"Isn't your sisters name Alexis?"

"Yeah, and my younger sister's name is Ale, but it's pronounced Aly. Don't ask." The girl said shrugging her shoulders. I looked around making sure nobody was around, but Dark already beat me to what I was going to ask.

"So what do you know about us?"

The girl looked around making sure the coast was clear. "That you guys aren't normal. I used to have a friend like you guys. Younger than myself. He told me everything. He was like you two." Alex said looking at Dark and me.

"So there is more like us?" I questioned.

"Yeah a whole city. There much farther advanced then we are and that was a few years ago." She paused looking at us. "You guys are looking for them aren't you?" She stated.

"Yeah." I said letting out a sigh. If she had known this person for a few years and her town wasn't going crazy at least she hadn't leaked out the secret.

"No offense but then why are you here?" Alex asked placing her hand on her hip, staring at us slightly bored.

"We don't know where they are. Do you?" Dark questioned monotone. Apparently he wasn't pleased of the fact he wasn't winning this one over.

"Yeah I have a map." She looked over her shoulder as if saying it was in the house. "I'll show you it on one condition. I get to go with you guys." I could see her eyes sparkle and a smile crept onto her face. She quickly snapped it away trying to hide what she was feeling but we all caught it. She was in love with her friend and missed him dearly. Dark eyed me then nodded at Alex.

Alex opened the door and motioned for us to come inside. We headed in smelling the smell of food. The smell didn't do anything to me. I ate, but rarely and only to make me seem normal. It didn't satisfy what I needed though.

We all squeezed inside to see Alexis sitting down on a rocking chair sewing a blanket. Above her head read a sign.. 'A Sister's Blankets'. Must be a business they had. It probably didn't support them well hence the tiny cottage.

"I've prepared rooms for you three. Dark and Jericho you two can have mine and Ale's room, and Red you can share a room with Alex." Alexis stated trying hard not to take her eyes away from the blanket.

"Oh no, that's fine. We really don't need to take your beds." I said putting my hands up. Alexis's eyes snapped towards me in confusion, but then a smile splayed across her face. I figured she had it hard watching her two younger sisters, holding a job and a house. The best thing a human always looks forward to is there bed by the time the sun sets.

"Truthfully we just prefer the floor if that's okay with you." Jericho said politely. I smiled at the fact he was treating the family a lot better than my cousin was. Either way Jericho and Dark being placed in the same room really wouldn't be the smartest idea. I could see the house being collapsed onto the ground by the morning and the two still fighting destroying everything in their path. I laughed slightly at the thought.

"So I'll show you guys around then." Alex said eyeing us then heading off in a direction. The house really was tiny. Two rooms, one bathroom, and a kitchen. Every one of them was small and everything was pushed together. Even the two beds that were placed in each one of the bedroom had less than a foot of space between them. We headed outside into a victory garden that took up the whole yard.

"This is my job at the house." Alex stated as she shuffled around in the very thin path that kept you from stepping on any of the plants. "Alexis says I can't make blanket so I get to do the cooking." I rose my eyebrows at the thought of me cooking. I worked at a bakery, baked goods was the only thing I could make. Out of the corner of my eye I could see Dark chuckling at me just thinking about me cooking. I slugged him in the arm hard and he rubbed it with his hand.

"It's good for my map though." Alex stopped in a random spot and reached her hand down into the soil. She pulled out a large piece of paper and opened it up placing it on the ground. I crouched down low on the ground looking at the paper memorizing everything.

"There's nothing there." Dark stated. I shot him daggers with my eyes for being so rude. He shrugged then turned around and started walking back towards the house.

"Dark I swear if you don't stop your fussing I am going to take you down six feet under personally." He turned around looking at me obviously angry at what I said. "Really get over yourself. I thought we already solved this problem."

"My family is inside, let's not start a fight." Alex said staring us both down with daggers.
