Ivy meets this girl named Scarlett at a party. Scarlett tells Ivy about this boy named who is abused by his parents. She mentions his name to Ivy and Ivy feels this instant connection to him. She leaves the party at goes home and thinks on what Scarlett said.
(Pine)
Pine is cleaning the house, the whole house. His parents left for the weekend and told him to clean up. He's so hungry that eat sneaks bread from the pantry. He plans on leaving but he looks outside and sees that its pouring outside and he needs a plan. His parents come home drunk and beat him horribly. He wakes up in so much pain. He decides to stop talking, stop caring. Pine's done with life he decides next chance he gets he's going to run away.
