A shade was all I had
Hiding under the darkness
Lost and scared
But since I've grown in it
I was all used to it
The cold of the dark
No sight of light
The loneliness...
The loneliness I had

The darkness is with me
It always was
So I am the dark

Darkness surrounds me
And darkness is within me
The dark consumes me
Don't feel bad for me

Nor understand me
I hate pity
Now I think I shall leave
For good
Live with the demons
I'll finally see them
Down there
Yes, you guessed it
Hell
It's not a fiery pit of pain
Hell is a cold world
Filled with nothing but...
Darkness...
Pitch dark.
But I'm used to the dark
The darkness within me
Around me
And I'll surely see the demons there
The demons that was always inside me
The demons that make up... Me
Now let me correct myself once more
I'm not alone.
Darkness is with me
And my childhood friends are with me...
My demons.
