flower boy bakery

≪ one shot ≫

kim myungsoo:

you're at your job as a chef at a flower boy bakery. when you get there, you see myungsoo, GD, nichkhun, and taecyeon at work as always as the flower boy waiters. baking cakes was very easy, as you were very good at it.

watching the waiters wait on tables with mostly girls, makes you kind of jealous. though you keep it inside and work happily and heartily.

as the bakery was at time for closing, the waiters snuck into the kitchen to get cupcakes, especially the new special batch you made today.

"hey, let's go guys!"

GD whispered as they slowly entered the kitchen.

you were still in there finishing up an ordered cake and heard lots of whispering.

'oh, i think it might be the boys, better get them now before the cupcakes are gone.'

you thought to yourself.

you stored the cake into the fridge and still had some frosting on your face. you walked over to their 'secret' hiding space and said

"YAH!!"

the boys flinched out at the sound of your voice.

"those are for the 100th anniversary tomorrow! i'll make you others!"

you went back to your station and started to prepare 5 cupcakes, designed for them.

they waited and watched at awe by your side and you finished them after adding the names onto them. you handed them to the boys and they cheered loudly and said,

"thank you y/n!!"

you laughed and beamed a radiant smile. myungsoo stopped in the middle of eating his cupcake and looked up to see frosting still on your cheek.

he strides toward you and wipes it off gently with his thumb and you blush very hard. you try to cover it up but them nichkhun started to notice and tease you.

"hey! i'll never make you a cupcake again if you keep teasing me!"

you yelled at him and he started to pout.

you laughed at this and the boys started cleaning up and headed out in to the bakery section. there were a small group of girls outside, waiting for the boys to go out.

"your fanclub's here."

you said jokingly and they sighed but smiled. the door was glass but you could all still hear what they were saying.

"oh, myungsoo oppa is so hot!"

one said and another

"hey, who's that raggedy girl? is she with one of them?!"

and another..

"no. she is too ugly to be with any of them. hahaha."

this pierced your heart as you always had low self esteem.

this just made it worse.

you had a small tear run down your cheek and hurried out so they wouldn't see you.

"bye! see you tomorrow!"

you quickly said.

once they were out of sight, you cried a little more and suddenly felt a hand grip your wrist.

it was myungsoo.

"hey, what's wrong? if it's what those girls said, you're not those things at all. you're beautiful, smart, cute, pure, and clean."

he confessed worriedly but held a smile.

"you're just saying that.. i'm fine, really. just go home. it's getting late."

you said in response and tried to get out but he only tightened his grip.

"it's true... i've liked you for a long time.."

he said with a shy smile.

"really? you know you could have better. i'm happy but i don't think you'll be interested after a while.."

you said realizing the truth.

"no! you're all i need. i would never think of you as boring after a while. i really like you. i know it's sudden, but will you be my girlfriend?!"

you were in complete shock but managed to nod your head with a bright smile.
