"Hi, I'm Alex, " said a beautiful red head. He said nothing, just stood there staring into the abis.
She waited eagerly for a reply but didn't receive one instead she received a blank stare. Emotionless he walked away.

Was it wrong that he didn't enjoy small talk as much as the rest?
Out of the thin air appeared a tall male. All he thought was avoid ,so he did. He moved to the side swiftly avoiding any contact with the figure. He wasn't ready for this. He was way out if his league here, he wasn't ready to face all these new faces... It was strange enough having to sleep on a bed every night, but now he had to go to this place, called school.
He knew nothing about being a teenager, although he'd been one for millenniums... He had the mixed emotions and "hatred of society" marked down, a good starter. But he knew nothing about having friends, life long companions, doing homework, sports or even making simple conversation.
Of all the things he learned in the years he existed he had mastered logic and common sense. To him it seemed like as each decade passed less people used those two necessary life skills. It was as if the more frequently people intoxicated themselves with things from the world they resided in the more they lost themselves, the more they seemed to fade into the crowds of generic beings.
The one thing he held onto the most over the billions of years was himself. He wouldn't mind loosing anything, but he would never loose himself. He knew that if he lost himself he would loose everything. He knew that no matter what he could never go down the wrong road and loose himself along the way. No matter how tough the battle was he would always stay true to himself even if that meant he would be judged.
He didn't care though. Why should he worry about what others think if him if he had a high regard for himself? What others thought of him had no importance.

"
Hey, freak!" exclaimed the same tall male he avoided a few moments back. "Why don't you hit the gym you faggot?" Bursts of laughter echoed down the hallway. He wasn't going to put up with recalcitrant little basterds. If there was one this he hated most but was people who believed they were mightier than the rest.
He stood as silent as a mouse for a moment before taking a long deep breath...
