Although it was undeniably hot out his soul was colder than the Arctic. But his lonely soul was searching for something it had never experienced. It was longing for the flames of love to scorch him like the sun did his soft, pale skin.
The emerald ring on his elongated index finger gleamed in the sun reflecting it's harmful rays. With his ring on finger he walked out his front door dreading the day's events.
He looked up to the sky, fearing the sun, and squinted his eyes which were almost as dark as his soul...
Across the street grew a tree. A simple green tree yet the boy stood for a while amazed by its vibrant beauty.
He had no name. No family. But one thing he did have was appreciation. Appreciation for the finer beauty of things. He saw more than what meets the eye. He could smell the lush, green tree's sweet nector from miles away, he could see the tiney animals eating away at the bark. He noticed everything and more.
After a while he gathered his endless thoughts and continued slugging along.
After what seemed to be years he stopped before entering the gates of hell. He looked around at all the strangers staring at him. Staring as if he was quire... As is he left his head at home. Dispite the piercing stares he stood alone getting lost in his dark thoughts once again.
