Previously on Carter

*Years later*

Carter Jr. is sitting at his desk as a much older man in his early 40's late 30's since loosing Onika during the birth of there daughter he has kept a low profile, he has a huge rep in the streets of New York as The Kingpin just like his grandfather & father.

Since he wanted to live on Onikas memory he vowed to himself that he would always do good & keep his family safe.

Just like his father he kept his son in the dark about his business even tho he know his son is just like him he isn't stupid Carter is much more wiser then what his father was when he was his age at 20

"Pops?" He says "Yeah?" He answers as he turns around looking at his son who is a mix of him & Onika "Me & Onika are going to the mall you gonna be good here by yourself?" He asks "Yeah you know I'm always good have fun call me if anything comes up" he tells him "Alright I will" he says then he leaves with his sister.

Carter is looking at a picture of his late wife "I miss you so much beautiful" he says as he kisses frame his phones rings he places the frame down & answers his phone "Hello?" "Carter?"

As Onika is trying on clothes she feels something is wrong when she looks out the dressing room she calls out for her brother "Carter!" "Yeah Nika?" He says "I have a bad feeling about something but I don't know what it could be" she tells him "You just crazy sis" he tells her not even looking at her, they buy what they wanted & once they step out of the shopping mall gun shots are fired at them.

Carter Jr. is sitting at his desk when his phone goes off "Hello" he says "Carter Perez" the man on the other end "He isn't here at the moment can I take a message?" He says "Tell him that those kids of his are done" he can hear Onika's screaming "CARTER!!!"
