Carter can finally take his babies home with him, he is helping Lil Carter into the car as he waiting for Onika he turns around to her being wheeled to him by one of her nurses "Thank you so much for everything" she tells them she hugs them all "Your very welcome, remember you have to come back to us next week so we can take the bandages off" she tells her "Of course I will be here first thing in the morning" she tells them as she gets in the car.
Carter follows behind her, they begin to head home "Until you both are better you will home schooled, anything & everything you will need Maria will provide it for you just ask her. I will be handle everything, So I don't want nether of 2 leaving the house without me knowing first & Yes I am talking about you Carter so don't even try it.." he tells him with a serious tone & looking directly at him "What?, I aint goin no where" he tells him a dry tone "Yo ass better be in the house all day today" he tells him as he checking his phone "As for you missy, no friends until your nose heals up," he says to her as he continues to check cell phone for any updates on Augusts whereabouts.
"Ok, papi I understand" she says in a sweet low voice "I'm serious Onika don't give me that sweet little voice shit, what happen to both of you Is very serious, lucky your guardian angel is watching over you & protected you both. From today & on security is gonna be escorting you where ever you need to go & I have to give the final say if you can go.." He throws him back into the seat Lil Carter doesn't say anything back after his father's backlash.
Onika under covers her eyes as she feels the tension between her father & brother is very thin.
She turns away to look out the window to see the streets of New York City.
The drive directly into the drive way & they all go into the house Lil Carter goes directly to his room.
Onika goes into the kitchen & she sees a picture of her mother wearing the white she seen her in she is holding the picture in her hands examining it "That picture was taken when your mother was 5 months pregnant with you" Carter says as he taking out food to start cooking "Where did she get that necklace?" She asks as she looks at him "It was my gift to her just because I loved her she said it was her favorite necklace & she never took it off" Onika takes a closer look at the necklace.
She goes into her pocket she has that same necklace in her hand that her mother is wearing in that picture her eyes widen in disbelief "Why do you ask?" He says as he is about to turn around she hides the necklace in her hand "Nothing I just like how beautiful it was" she tells him "I miss her every day but you know what" he tells her "What?" She says with a questionable look on her face "She maybe gone but her blessing to me was you she gave me you princess" he tells her as he kisses her forehead "Go check on sir hot head upstairs I will call you both down when dinner is done" he says to her as he begins to cook.
She goes upstairs & takes out the necklace, she looks at the necklace she thinks in her head "How is that even possible mommy what are you trying to tell me?".
She goes into her brothers room she sees he has a gun in his hand & he jumps pointing it at her she jumps in her fear letting out a small scream "Shit shut up.." He warns her & he puts the gun back under his drawer "Why do you have that.. Where did you even get it?" She questions "Don't worry about it... Why you up here dad asked you check on me?" He asks with a smirk on his face.
"Yeah... Carter I think mommy is alive" she tells him.
