"Hush" , he said as his fingers sifted through my raven locks
His lips whispered kisses on the crown of my head
"Hush", he said again as his tender eyes drank in my insecurities
His calloused hands feathered over my salted cheeks
I tried a wobbly smile and got a warm gentle one instead
I reached out and buried my face in his chest
And when his arms encircled me; i could breathe again...
