As Miranda stared at me, with determination and confidence lingering around her large structure, I could feel the energy from my Ghost Gear building up. Just like when I went into the caves to save Jack. My gauntlets and boots glowed a radiant purple, signaling that it was ready for battle.

"Now this time, there is no backing out." Miranda stated as she began her trek towards me at a slow pace, "Better be prepared."

"Bring it on!" I shouted out as I too began my advancement towards her.

The first to make the first attack was Miranda who had slashed battleaxe horizontally towards me which I dodged by jumping onto the weapon and allowing the momentum to fling me a good distance. I was not expecting her to be so fast with that thing but it seemed as though she used a little too much force as she was spun around a bit from the momentum: perfect chance to attack while she is dazed.

I rushed towards Miranda at high speed and  when I was about 10 feet from her I jumped into the air and landed a powered up palm thrust to her temple causing her to stumble back a bit. I wasn't finished as I rushed her again, but this time she was prepared as raised her battleaxe above her head and bringing it down with great force that it caused the ground beneath me to shake and crack open, revealing a newly made ravine. I had to sidestep with a back flip too to avoid falling into it.

"Whew... Almost got me!" I stated, raising my hand to my face and adjusting my index finger and my thumb to come close as possible together, "Almost."

Miranda huffed angrily, flames taking the spots of her irises. Just then, her battleaxe began to shimmer a bright teal blow which she proceeded to throw it towards me. I wondered why she chose to do an attack like this, as I easily dodged it.

"Hey lad, watch out!" Jack shouted out from the sidelines, which caused me to look behind me to see that the battleaxe that was thrown at me two seconds ago was now heading back towards me.

I didn't have much time to dodge this attack much as I tried to back flip over it but alas I lacked a bit as it made contact with my boots, causing the heel of them to be ripped clean off. Just so happened the power modules for the boots were in the heels so it meant that they were completely useless.

"I did not expect that." I stated removing my boots and throwing them off to the side so I can repair them later, "Now my socks are going to get dirty."

"That should be the least of your worries right now." Miranda exclaimed as she caught her battleaxe and readied to throw it again, "You gotta worry about getting cut in two."

This was not good: those boots were my only way of moving so fast and that was barely enough to dodge her battleaxe's speed but now that they were gone I have only my gauntlets to rely on blocking that attack.

The axe was released, spinning at an alarming rate with its teal shimmer coming straight towards me. I knew I wasn't fast enough to dodge something like that so I attempted to block the attack. Emphasis on ATTEMPT. I say this because as my gauntlets made contact with the weapon, they were barely able to just make it change direction before smoke started to fume out of the left one, causing me to take it off and throw off in the distance so I don't get burned.

"It seems you are having some trouble little man." Miranda stated catching her battleaxe into her grip once again, "This looks like I am about to win."

"Maybe but I still have one more trick up my sleeve." I replied, with my last means of defense starting to glow even brighter than before, "Why don't you try throw that axe of yours again, bet you wont even be able to cut me."

She smiled a cocky smiled as she riled her battleaxe farthest it ever went behind her that when she released it, a silent whiz sound like the air itself was being cut to shreds could be heard. This must have been the strongest her battleaxe could be right now but I believe that wont stop me. As the axe drew closer and closer, my right gauntlet shone the brightest light it ever could have.

I raised my right hand forwards, hoping that my last resort will lead to my success.

Until...

Everyone watching the fight, including myself, went wide-eyed as to what happened.

My hand made contact with the handle of the axe and to my surprise, I had caught it!

"Impossible! No living creature has ever been able to even hold my battleaxe from its massive weight!" Miranda exclaimed which caused me to smirk a bit, "And my axe only listens to the most worthy of warriors!"

"I must say, it really is heavy..." I stated riling the humongous weapon over my shoulder, "But it seems to me that he likes me now."

As I held the mighty weapon in my hand, its previous teal shimmer had changed to one of purple: I guess it likes Ghost power. I turned my attention back Miranda who seemed to have shrunk down to her normal size and began walking towards her.

"Miranda Minotaur, you have lost your only weapon and are defenseless..." I exclaimed, hauling the battleaxe in my hand and lodging it deep into the earth, "I do believe I have won this battle."
