Just a Dream

Damn the sun it woke me up,

Again I feel the pain.

The world of dreams became my refuge,

The day you left me.

Now I don't feel anything else,

Except the absence of you.

I feel too much, that’s what I’m trying to say,

The absence of you is everywhere.

I feel your shadow one step behind me,

That’s the place she’ll never be again.

I smell your perfume everywhere around me,

My memories are all I have.

I wait for the planet to turn backwards,

To bring me back to that day.

I wait for the time to freeze,

A minute before that sentence you said:

‘I’m leaving now. This is goodbye.

You’re not the one for me.’
