(A/N) my favourite flavour of ice cream is mango :D
comment your favourite flavour of ice cream, I wanna see how many ppl read these author's notes xD
Anyways this chapter's just gonna be laid back with nothing too important. Basically reader chan teaches a human game to the vampires.First Person POV
I'm sitting on a couch, In a living room, in a giant freaking mansion, with a group of vampires acting as if this was completely normal.
Crowley was sitting next to me reading a report, with his arm snaked around my waist, forcing me to lean against his chest.
Chess was sitting on an arm chair opposite us, facing Ferid who was resting his cheek on his palm.
The two were playing chess and from the look of Ferid's distressed expression and Chess's evil smirk, Chess was probably the one winning.
I mean HER NAME IS CHESS AFTERALL SO so it probably gave her some sort of indirect, preternatural advantage.
And yes, I believed in that sort of stuff.
Horn sitting by herself on a sofa beside ours and was completely immersed in a shoujo manga book?
I didn't know she liked manga, let alone a shoujo one.I have to admit, it's not the typical way of spending your Sunday afternoon but it's not like I had choice in any of this.
There was this very sickening feeling that had been in my gut ever since last night so I distracted myself by taking small sips of a cup of water and thought of what I wanted to do today.
Sure Ferid's mansion was huge, fancy, but that didn't mean it had a lot of things you could entertain yourself with. Most of the space was just filled with useless ornaments and decorations but I won't deny that they were pretty.
Pretty boring.
Suddenly I thought of a weird idea.
To kill some time, I should teach them how to play a game! A good and interesting one like truth or dare, a game I use to play with Yumi and Junichi.
Sure my ultimate goal was to escape this sugar-coated hellhole and seek help but that doesn't mean I shouldn't have a little fun learning a bit more about the vampires.
Who knows? It might be useful later on when I escape.
An fun interrogation disguised as a fun, child's game, what a cool plan.
But first of all I needed them to all agree to my dodgy, out-of-the-ordinary request.
"H-hey everyone! I thought of something that could lighten up the mood" I said awkwardly, muttering the end part.
Damn it (Y/N)! I mentally slapped myself
You said it way more convincingly in your head.
Everyone was giving me suspicious glares except for Crowley who chuckled and Horn, who smiled genuinely at me.
"Oh dear, I suppose it is quite boring for you but as much as I want to play with you, I have to finish reading this report".
I bit my lip
"Well I can imagine that it is indeed very boring for (Y/N) chan, humans only live for so long afterall so they get bored easier than vampires do". Horn reasoned
"And I am interested in what little (Y/N) chan has to offer too~"
Ferid added.
"Well I'm thinking of playing popular game for humans and it's called Truth or Dare".
I stopped to see if they wanted me to keep talking so Crowley nudged my shoulder indicating me to continue.
"Um the rules are pretty simple, a person starts by asking someone 'truth or dare' if the person being asked chooses truth, the person starting asks them a question and they have to answer it truthfully no matter what. If the person chooses dare, the starter gives them a task that they have to perform".
After a short silence in the room, Horn put her hands together.
"That sounds like a fun game (y/n) chan, I'd love to join, but I think we should put some limitations on the dares, we don't want anyone getting hurt do we"
"Yea" I murmured.
"I've got a question" Ferid said, "what if the person chooses not to answer the truth or complete the dare".
I shrugged, "there are many different variations of the game but if a person doesn't want to do the dare proposed, they'll usually be asked a truth instead, and that rule can apply the other way around too if a person won't answer a truth".
"Humph interesting, humans always make up intriguing ways to pass time. I'll join" Ferid said and Chess pouted
"Jeez if Lord Ferid's chickens out right when I was beating him, then fine! I guess I will join as well" Chess said annoyed
"I'm with Chess" Horn yawned.
Crowley sighed, "well I suppose if everyone's participating it'd be a shame if I declined so I accept".
I grinned knowing that my plan worked.
"Uh-hm well, since I'm familiar with the game, I think I should start" I said grabbing everyone's attention.
"Go ahead (Y/N) chan~" Horn chirped.
