Five Years Later

Nikki's POV

It's been five years since Nattie and I took our trip to Cancun.Also been five years since I talked her into leaving Tyson for me and asked her to marry me.I also left John when we returned from Cancun.Three months later we started planning our family.We found out that Nattie has fertility problems which will make it impossible for her to carry a baby.We went home to talk about our options for us to have a kid.

**Flashback**

"Babe I'm not leaving you just because you won't be able to carry a baby for us.We will figure out a way."I tell her."But I can't carry our baby"she says to me."I have an idea babe.How about I carry the baby?"I suggest to her."And if you can't?"she asks."Then we ask about further options.Adoption or a surrogate."I say to her.She hesitantly agrees and we start looking up doctors that could help us.I call the first one on the list whom suggested we go to a fertility clinic.I take her out for dinner at her favorite restaurant then we walk on the boardwalk before heading home.A few hours later we go to bed.

When we wake up it's 8:30 am.I pick up my phone where I already programmed the number that the doctor gave me and scroll to the number and hit call.I talk to the receptionist about an appointment which I scheduled for the following day.I walk downstairs and make breakfast for us as Nattie hopes in the shower.Five minutes later she comes downstairs and sit at the table as I fix the plates and place them on the table.

         *skip to the following month*

I wake up at 5:30 am and get up then run to the bathroom.I lean over the toilet and start to throw up.As I'm throwing up i feel hands holding my hair back and rubbing my back."Sorry that I woke you up babe"I say to her."I think you should go to the doctors babe"she says to me."Go with me please babe.I have the appointment for the follow up at the the fertility clinic."I tell her.She agrees to go with me since it was her eggs that we used and it would be our baby if it was a successful ivf.

Four hours later I'm laying on a bed at the fertility clinic and she's sitting in a chair beside the bed.We are holding hands when the doctor walks into the room."Ready to see if it was successful?"he asks.We both say yes.He pulls my shirt up a little bit and covers my pants with a hand towel before lowering them a little.He puts gel on my stomach then puts a dobbler over the gel and moves the gel around.He checks for a few minutes then looks at me."Congrats your pregnant."he says to me.

    *skip to nine months later*

I'm laying in a hospital bed holding our beautiful daughter that I had just given birth to five minutes ago.I look over at my beautiful wife Natalya and see she's crying."She's perfect babe.Just like her one mommy."I say to her."What are we going to name her babe?"she asks me."I'm thinking that we should name her Lilly Rose"I tell her.She gives me that look."With both of our last names."

*end of flashback*

It has been four years to the day since I gave birth to our now daughter Lilly Rose Colace-Neidhart.We were sitting in the kitchen planning her birthday when she comes running into the kitchen."Mama"Lilly says to Nattie."Yes princess?"she replies to her."Someone at door"Lilly says back.We get up off our chairs and head to the front door.We open it to come face to face with Nattie's ex husband Tyson.
