No wonder he had looked so familiar. I've seen him in so many pictures back home. I also recognised the same black hair on his head. My mom has black hair as well. A tear ran down my face. I ran up to him. He stood up and outstretched his arms. I ran into them.

"I'm so glad I get to meet you, my daughter." My dad said.

"I have heard your voice and seen pictures." My dad put his hands on my arms and pulled away from my hug to see my face.

"You heard me?"

"That one night you talked about... my life." I didn't want to mention any more.

"Oh." He said and chuckled. "You look just like your mother."

I laughed. My dad looked at Gus.

"So I heard you're dating." He said to Gus.

"Yes sir." My dad laughed.

"Don't break her heart." My dad said.

"Yes sir." My dad laughed again.

"I love it when they call me sir." My dad said to me. I laughed. "Maybe they will be calling you ma'am." I smiled at the thought of owning this place one day.

I looked at Gus. He smiled.

"I have some meetings to go through." My dad said and took his hands off my arms. "Maybe we can have lunch or dinner and catch up."

I nodded. "I missed you."

"I missed you too. Gus take care of her okay?" Gus nodded. I walked toward Gus. Before we left, Gus turned around to say something to my dad.

"If Katie asks for a break, give it to her. We have news." When Gus said the last part, he looked at me and smiled.

"Oh, so it was a secret." My dad said. Gus nodded. "Will do."

Gus and I walked out the room. I wanted to hold his hand, but I remember Katie was there.

"Go ask for a break now. We'll see you there." Gus told Katie.

"Okay." Katie walked to the door to my dad. Gus and I walked out the office.

"How did she know we were meeting up?" I asked Gus.

"I texted all of them." Gus said. I nodded. We got in the elevator. Gus pressed the button to go to the lounge. The doors closed and I reached for Gus' hand. Gus grabbed it.

Just before the doors opened Gus said, "Are you ready?" I nodded.

The doors opened and we walked out. We walked to the place we were last time. Alexis and Maddie were already there. Gus let go of my hand. We walked toward them, I was behind him. I didn't want to give away too much.

We sat down, Gus in the chair he was last time and scooted toward the right. I sat in the chair with Alexis, the left of Gus. Alexis to the left of me and Maddie across from me with an empty space next to her.

"I thought you two would be distant." Alexis said.

"Why?" Asked Maddie.

"We got in a fight, but we had gotten over it." I said.

"Why didn't you tell me?" Alexis asked. "I've been getting ready for a fight for weeks."

I looked over to Gus. He looked a bit scared. Alexis is just trying to scare him. Katie walked over to us from the elevator.

"Okay. Now we can start." Katie said as soon as she sat in her spot in the sofa.

"Okay. I want to start." Said Gus before I could say anything. "I and Annabel are... dating." Alexis started at Gus. Katie looked relived. Maddie looked a little shocked. Alexis started to laugh.
