Breeze

"Aura, Aura", he shouted, "you foolish and worthless child."

I just ignored him and allowed my mind to fly.

He came towards me like a hungry predator and grabbed my collar, with great pleasure I stroked his cheeks.

His skin was boiling hot, his eyes blood red. He dumped me on the floor and took up his belt. He hit me again and again wanting to hurt me, to make me cry.

Like a breeze I gained strength. I gained courage to do what I had planned for a very long time. I drew out my dagger from my pocket........

     The silence was broken by the cardiograph. The ambulance dispatcher turned to look at me with a sad face, "we're are so sorry but he's not going to make it."

I shrugged and said, "then he won't be needing this" as I withdrew the dagger from his chest and craved out his heart with them looking at me in awe and fear as they back off.  I liked off the blood and walked out.

"life has always been full of blood and the breeze."
