Chapter 10- Imagination or reality? (Lay and Kai)

Lay: I felt as if a boulder crashed into my heart. Baekhyun... In a coma... I punched the nearest wall and yelled in frustration. If only I was there... Maybe I would be able to keep this from happening. Instead... I was in China... Sitting at my room in the hotel only seeing messages they send me. I really need to head back... I need to see Baekhyun and be with them. My phone suddenly buzzed and I looked. 'Xiumin is kidnapped... Please save him.' It was from Chen. I text him back and waited for an answer. Lay... Please be able to hear me... I turned back in shock when I heard Chen's voice. Lay... listen to me... Please run before he gets you... RUN! "Chen??" I looked around for him. Suddenly, a cloth covered my mouth and I was grabbed. I tried to breathe but he was too strong and I slowly gave in... I fell on the floor and blacked out.

I froze in horror as the fake claimed another victim. I pulled my hair and tried to think. 'What should I do now??' I teared up when I saw Lay hyung get dragged away by that monster. I had no choice... I needed to find Kai. I need to leave China and find help quick. I flew off for Korea as fast I could. I don't care if I don't exist in this world anymore, all I care is for Exo, my family to be protected and safe.

Kai: I read the message again and again. Kidnapped?? What did Chen mean? I scratched my chin curiously. The rest of the members were out for lunch while I stayed home to be alone. Chanyeol was depressed since the morning after Baekhyun... I wondered if this had to do with Chen hyung... Baekhyun hyung wouldn't suddenly end up getting in contact with dangerous chemicals. I hoped and prayed that I was just thinking negative and that it wasn't true. Suddenly, the window whooshed open and I had to put all my strength on to close it. Kai... Can you hear me? If Lay hyung could... You have to also... I turned around but saw no one. Something warm wrapped around my body like a hug. "Chen ssi... Is... that you?" I said as tears fell from my eyes. I looked down and saw something slowly integrate into view. I turned around again and saw a familiar face, he was warm, he gentle and soft like an angel. "C...he..n hy..ung..." I choked out the words. He looked up at me, shocked at first but slowly melted into a smile. He had tears of joy, "Kai... You can see me!" "But... but... what's going on??" I asked.

"There's no time! If we don't hurry, Lay hyung and Xiumin hyung will be in danger!" I said urgently. Kai looked at me, "What's happening?? Who's that other Chen?? And are they ok??" I jumped around and finally gave in, it wouldn't do any good if I'm asking someone who doesn't know what's happening to help. "Ok... This is the thing... That Chen is a fake. He was planning on destroying Exo soon but Baekhyun forced him to change his plan when he accidentally spilled this chemical. Xiumin got shot... and I tried to get Lay to help but I was too late... That's why I came to you." "But... If you're an angel or something... How come we couldn't see or hear you before until now?" I scratched my chin and thought on that question, "I did feel like you heard me in you guys sleep... I tend to go to you guys and sing a lullaby until you sleep and you seem to calm down too. I guess... You guys could hear me just never noticed." Kai had his eyes full of tears, "So... It was you the whole time... Omg... How did I not realize it... Chen hyung... I..." I wiped them off and sighed, "Kai... I'm dead. You need to learn to let go, I'm not even supposed to be standing here next to you. I... I'm sorry..." Kai hugged me tightly, "As long as I can hug you again, I am happy." I suddenly had an idea and grabbed his hand, "Let go dig up my grave!" Kai, half dragged looked at me, "Why?" I smirked, "I'll proof that I'm stalking everything you guys do."
