Chapter 1- Bearing guilt (Baekhyun and Chanyeol)

Chanyeol: I walked around the room and sat down on the bed. The place... Our dorm... Seemed even more quiet than before. The year had ended with our Christmas album topping on the album charts once again. The only thing that wasn't the same... Was... That Chen wasn't there. I started regretting what I've said to him and suspecting him. Baekhyun walked in and saw me staring at the Beagle Line picture. He sat next to me and didn't say a word. I turned to him slowly, "Hyung... I feel so... guilty. I thought Chen hyung was heartless and never thought of us as family." Baekhyun's tears started falling, I looked at him with full eye contact. His eyeliner was washing off due to his tears, I took out a tissue and started wiping them off.

Baekhyun: I turned to face Chanyeol as soon as he said his guilt. Tears fell from my eyes.... I found myself even more painful. I was the one who told D.O to keep an eye on him. I was the one who told Suho to gather as a meeting to vote on D.O spying on him. I was the one... I told Sehun to tell Luhan to meet up with him. Chanyeol hugged me before I had more thoughts on what I've done. His warmth comforted me slowly... I didn't want to be in this world anymore... Everyone I love is slowly leaving my side. I dint want to lose anyone else, I didn't want to lose Chanyeol.

*flashback*

Baekhyun's PoV:
I took Suho to my room and made sure I closed the door. "Suho hyung... We need to discuss about Chen." Suho looked at me for a bit and sighed, "Baekhyun... Chen is fine. I'm sure he isn't doing anything betrayal to us." "You trust people too much, hyung. You trusted Kris, what happened as a result?" Suho wanted to protest but I continued speaking, "Look, Chanyeol agrees, D.O agrees, everyone agrees. I already told Sehun to call Luhan so that he can talk to him while D.O to keep alert about what Chen does." Suho wanted to say something but decided not to, "Alright... Please be careful as well, I don't want to start another fight." I nodded and let him leave the room. D.O... I hope that he will discover findings that were not what I hope for... I hope Chen won't leave Exo and betray us...

A few days after D.O's findings....

Chanyeol's PoV:
"Suho hyung... I've been feeling weird lately." I said as me and Suho were walking to the van. "Why is that, Chanyeol?" He asked. I made sure Chen wasn't behind me and whispered, "Chen is acting strange lately... That's what setting me off." He agreed with a nod, "I hope it's not another departure... It's already bad that Luhan, Kris and Tao left..." I shook my head, "Seriously... What's with Exo M?? They come and go like that. It's like we never knew each other." "Maybe he had other reasons." A voice said behind us. We both turned around and was startled by D.O's sudden appearance. "How would you know that, D.O? You are not him. He probably found some secret job and planning to leave SM when he has a chance to be a 'better' singer." I snorted. D.O shook his head and walked away. Suho sighed, "I trust Chen that he wouldn't be heartless." I turned back to him, "Pabo hyung... You never know what's in someone else's mind other than yours." Suho didn't comment and got in the van. I was feeling disappointed... Chen could betray us like that.
