It's been three hours since we arrived at the mall and Justin had to leave due to some work commitment, leaving Miley and me alone. She dint seem much affected by that but I was on the verge of having a panic attack.
Stop freaking out Zac. She's just a girl.
She's a girl, that was the problem. I've never been good with girls. I did have my ways of charming women and having one night stands but those college days were long gone.

Sighing, I pulled out strands of grass as Miley just sat admiring the lake. It sure was a beautiful place and the park was empty since it was a Monday afternoon.

"When was the last time you've been to a park?" She asked me lying down on the grass.
"Five." I smiled remembering that day. "When I was five."
She then turned to me and stared at me intently for a while before asking "Can you be able to manage without working for a week?"
I had no idea why she was asking me that.
"I don't know" I trailed off "I don't have any serious deal next week but -"
"Great" she cut me off. "You and me are going on a vacation."
"Vaca - what?"
She gave a small chuckle in response "Don't worry. At least we'll get to know each other well."
I just nodded in response.
"Uhm where exactly will we be going?"
"I don't know" she shrugged "A road trip sounds fine. Plus, I'll call Justin and Hailey for company."
"Oh okay." I muttered relieved, at least we'll have company. I'd probably have a full blown panic attack if it was just the two of us.
I looked at her. She was pretty, very pretty. It's been hardy six hours since I met her and she already has that hold on me.
What was happening to me?
Why would a girl like her want to marry someone like me? I'm probably the he most boring person she ever met.
"You really want to marry me?" I asked making her head turn in my direction and she shot a small smile.
"I wouldn't stand here with you if I dint want to. As I already said, you seen like a really nice guy. Your good looking, your decent and you don't have a girlfriend and I started liking you. You're awfully honest with me Mr. Efron, not every guy does that."
I smiled at her words. No one has ever said anything like that to me. I liked her too. She was fun to hang out with, her laugh was so contagious and I couldn't stay away from her.
"Can we do it normally?" My sudden outburst made her jump.
"Do what normally?" She asked smiling.
I scratched my neck. There's no easy way to say this.
"You know" I shrugged "We can act like a real couple, at least we'll know each other before marriage."
She just leaned back on to the grass and I copied her.
"I started liking you more now." She smiled at me. God! I can never get enough of it. "I was actually thinking the same. Maybe we could start out like a normal couple."
We sat in silence for a minute until I shot up again,
"What do couples generally do?" Don't get me wrong, I was a ladies man but I never had a relationship before.
She gave a small laugh "You need to figure that out on your own Mr. Efron."
"Zac" I corrected her. "You can call me Zac."
"I'd prefer Mr Efron. It suits you and yes, you can call me Miley."
"Okay." I muttered.

" I muttered

We sat there, talking about each other. I got to know that Miley had a huge apartment very close to my house and she loved dogs. I told her about Elliot and my mother. She was attentive all through. It made me feel wanted. Well, that's something I hardly feel.

It started getting cold in the evening and neither of us were ready to leave. I could see Miley shivering, so I gave her my jacket which she hesitantly took. I was totally cold and after giving my jacket, I was basically shivering. Miley seemed to have noticed that and she snug close to me. I dint protest, I would never protest having Miley in my arms.
She rested her head on my chest and I hesitantly wrapped my arms around her waist. She seemed to be fine with me and I was more than fine with being around her. Somehow at that moment, I felt complete. I felt like the whole world was at my feet. I never felt like this before.
What was she doing to me?

I sat there, staring at the girl who was asleep in my arms. She looked so peaceful when she slept.
"Excuse me sir?" I heard a voice behind me, I turned to find a guard. "We're closing now sir."
I nodded and stared at Miley. There was no way I was waking her up. She looked like she was in a deep sleep. I decided to carry her to the car, so I lifted her up with my arms. She was so light.
I gently put her in the back seat and sat beside her, so that she could rest her head on my lap. Through out the journey, Miley dint even move. Except for her stomach that kept moving up and down as she was breathing.
"We're here sir." My driver opened the door for me. I muttered a small thank you and carried Miley to my bedroom.
She looked so peaceful when she was sleeping. God! This girl is the death of me.

"I heard you dint go to office today and who the hell is this girl?" Elliot yelled looking at Miley. I shot him a glare asking him to keep it down as she was sleeping.
"Zac" he warned me as we stepped out of my room "If your going back to your old ways -"
"It's Miley." Those two words were enough to shut him up. He knew about the whole deal.
"I met her at a flower shop today, then I met her at the graveyard and then we decided to hang out with Justin at the mall for a bit but he had to leave soon so me and Miley sat in the park till evening and she fell asleep so I brought her here."
He stared at me smiling.
"What?" I snapped at him.
"You missed office for a girl whom you met just hours ago?"
I nodded.
"Your mother knew you well." He said before leaving. This man was so confusing.
I went inside the bedroom and got changed. I decided to sleep on the couch since Miley was on the bed.
I realised that I did something I never did in ages. I smiled.
