Chapter 3- Clover

HEY GUYS!!!! Sorry for the late update! @Skaterboy42 hasnt been on for a while, so i decided i should do another chapter! Here we go.....

I exited the big house thinking about what I was about to do. Tyler was in trouble. I had no clue how to help, and I didn't have any idea who could come with me on the quest! I made my way through camp until I got to the cabins. I walked inside my cabin, Athena's, and sat down on my bed. I put my head in my hands and took deep breaths, trying to get my mind to think up a solution or two. The bunk above mine creaked and I looked up. Someone's head popped down and said,

"Hiya Clover!" It was my half brother, Kyle. He was the same age as me, 14, with blonde hair, like me, grey eyes, like me, and a bright smile, unlike me. Kyle's hair was cut short, but not an ugly short. It was just perfect for his personality.

"Oh, hi Kyle. Whatcha doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in arts and crafts?" Kyle shrugged.

"You aren't there. Why should I be?" I took that into consideration.

"Well, I had an emergency." Kyle tilted his head.

"You don't look hurt." I shock my head,

"It was a different kind of emergency." Kyle made an 'O' with his mouth and climbed down from his bunk. He was wearing the normal Camp Half Blood t shirts and some tan shorts. His feet had on his favorite pair of shoes and around his neck hung his camp necklace.

"What are ya doing here then?" Kyle asked. I shrugged.

"Just to think. I think this is the easiest place to do that." Kyle nodded with understanding.

"What's your dilemma?" I bit my lip.

"I sort of have to save my friend from Gaea before he gets killed." Kyle shrugged as if it were a daily function, like eating or sleeping.

"So, you got a quest?" I shrugged,

"Sort of." Kyle leaned in,

"Who's going with ya?" I shrugged again,

"Don't know yet. I don't really have anyone on the top of my head. If I were goon to save someone else, Tyler would have been the first one." I sighed, "I just hope the people I ask will help me. I don't want to carry this quest on my own." Kyle nodded with understanding.

"I would feel the same way." We sat through an uncomfortable silence before Kyle said, "I could come with you..." I looked up at him and smiled.

"You would be willing to travel to the depths of Tartarus with me?" He nodded and smiled.

"I've always wondered what it was like down there. What if it is a five star hotel?! That would be totally unfair! Or, what if it was a falling pit of nothing? You just fall forever." He shivered. "That would be creepy." I laughed and clapped him on the shoulder.

"Whatever it is like, we can find out together." Kyle smiled and asked,

"Are you going to bring anyone else?" I shook my head.

"Three is the mythical number. I don't want to risk Tyler or one of my friends when there are four of us coming back." Kyle nodded.

"Where should we start?" He asked. I smiled,

"With a prophecy."
