Chapter two:
**Four weeks later**
I sit on the bathroom counter looking down at the test I have in my hands. The two lines on the test show me I’m pregnant. I run over to the toilet and throw up for what felt like the thirtieth time.
I hear a knock on the door hearing it creak open. Max sticks his head in and asks "are you decent?" He walks in and drops down beside me rubbing my back. I look up at max and wipe at my mouth.
Sighing he helps me to my bed looking at my hands with the test. He asks suddenly "it's positive isn't it?" I nod not looking at him. I give him the test showing him the positive. "Max, I'm too young to have a kid. I'm fifteen for god’s sake!" I cry shaking in max's arms.
I hear the front door open and my dad walks in calling "Ever I'm home! Quit macking on max we have more important things to take care of." max sighs beside me knowing that more important things are my parents getting drunk off their asses.
He looks at me and says "I don't want to leave you alone with them. We both know what happened last time" he lets the sentence hand making me shiver. I sigh and nod saying "okay let me tell my dad I'm going to your place"
I walk out of the room and find my dad in the kitchen. I sit on the counter watching him quietly. He sighs feeling my eyes on his back and looks at me "what do you want ever?" he asks angrily. I wince at his tone "daddy can I go over to Max's house?"
He looks at me over the fridge "have you gotten fatter Everlyn?" I shake my head not willing to trust my voice. He sighs and nods. "Fine but be ready for school and not be late." I giggle and nod hugging him before he can change his mind.
I run up the stairs and get all my things together. Max laughs beside me and says "here let me help with this" he grabs my bag and we go outside to his truck. Max opens the door for me. I blush thanking him and getting into the truck.
He pulls away from my drive and leave my clueless parents behind.
