Luke Crashed My Party

~Chapter Twenty~

Kara- "hello?" *on phone*
Luke- "hey.. we need to talk"
Kara- "yeah.."
Luke- "I thought about you all last night and I wanted to say sorry"
Kara- "same.. I'm sorry for over reacting"
Luke- "no.. it's not your fault babe"
Kara- "I love you"
Luke- "I don't love you"
Kara- "what do you mean?"
Luke- "stay away from me, don't ever call me again!"
Kara- "why?!"
Luke- "you're an annoying brat!"
Kara- I started crying
Luke- "stop crying and grow up"
Kara- by now I was hyperventilating.. it really hurts having someone you once loved say such hurtful things to you

Kara- I awoke from my dream breathing very heavily. Carley was staring at me from above
Carley- "bro what's wrong? you've been taking deep breathes in your sleep for about 5 minutes now.."
Kara- I explained the dream to carley
Carley- "this isn't healthy for him to be getting to your mind like this"
Kara- "I don't know how to stop it"
Carley- "talk to him in person"
Kara- "not after that dream.."
Carley- "you guys need to work things out, you were the perfect couple"
Kara- "okay, okay.. but he blocked my number.."
Carley- "no, he blocked mine"
Kara- "oh, I'll go give him a call then"
Carley- "I'll give you some privacy"
Kara- "thanks"
Kara- I looked through my contacts and saw Luke's name. I obviously wasn't ready to just call him, and Carley should know that. Instead, I called Hunter because he's always a good support.
Hunter- "uh hello?"
Kara- "hey"
Hunter- "I heard what happened, you okay?"
Kara- "not really"
Hunter- "want to go out tonight? You and Carley can meet Kenz and I at the bowling alley in town."
Kara- "okay, sounds good"
Hunter- "see you there"
Kara- "kk"
Kara- I hung up and walked out of my room to tell Carley our plans
Kara- "hey we're meeting Hunter and Mckenzie at the bowling alley tonight"
Carley- "is Luke tagging along?"
Kara- "uhh no.."
Carley- "who were you just on the phone with?!"
Kara- "well, Hunter"
Carley- "call luke"
Kara- "okay.."
Kara- time to face my fear. I walked outside to get some fresh air. Then I decided to call him.. I mean what's the worst that could happen?
Luke- "hey darlin"
Kara- "um hi"
Luke- "what happened to your voice?"
Kara- "what do you mean"
Luke- "wait this is Laila, right?"
Kara- I was trying to decided whether he was drunk or messing with me
Kara- "no.. it's Kara"
Luke- "oh well hi"
Kara- "who's Laila?"
Luke- "my girlfriend"
Kara- nothing's ever hurt so much in my entire life.. I still loved luke.. I thought I still had a chance but I guess not.
Kara- "oh.. well do you and your girlfriend have plans tonight?"
Luke- "nope!"
Kara- "well why don't you and Laila come to the bowling alley with Kenzie, Carley, Hunter, my boyfriend, and I?"
Luke- "oh i see you've moved on too.. I guess I meet you guys there"
Kara- "okay see ya"
Kara- now I have just a couple hours to find a boyfriend.. crap.
