Harvest Moon : A New Beginning Neil x Reader

Hey there ~ this is the second story i wrote and it's my first request :D there are a few grammar mistakes since i'm not english but i hope you'll enjoy!

"Awww c'mon , still not giving milk+ to me Molly?"

You said disappointed as you milked your cow. Hmm so you still didn't spent enough time at the animal sanctuary with all your animals...

"Alright that means we have to go there today too! I'll just finish watering my fields and giving presents to the villagers!"

When you finished you made your way over to your boyfriends animal shop.

"Hey Neil!~ look i've got a present for you ~ "

"Good morning (y/n), wow thanks that's my favourite!" He smiled at you.

"Sooo can we go to the animal sanctuary please? My animals still don't give me high quality products...and i NEED them to produce high quality products so i can win the festivals in the future.."
You said a bit annoyed.

"uh sure just wait until i've prepared everything so we can leave".

*Time skip*

You arrived at the animal sanctuary and lead your animals to the meadow.

"Be fine animals and pleaaaase give me products+ tomorrow" you said to your animals in a pleading voice.

Neil walked over to his his spot where he would stay the whole time until you had to go.

A few hours passed as you were playing with your animals. After a while you decided to go and talk a little with Neil since he was waiting there all alone and he was your boyfriend!

"Neil ! Let's talk a little!" You said with a wide grin on your face.

"Sure...how was your day?" He asked.

"Uuh pretty much like always , i brushed my animals, milked the cows and goats and so on ! Oh and when i was on my way to your shop i saw a cat and......." You froze.

Your head felt dizzy and your vision began to blur. It was clear that you overworked yourself. Neil gave you a strange look.

" (y/n) ?! Are you alright? "

You wanted to answer him but passed out. The last thing you saw was Neil running towards you and his lips moving as he said something you couldn't hear.

*Time skip*

You woke up in a bed and looked around only to see that Neil was lying next to you. You blushed immediately and half screamed

"N-Neil!? Why are we in a bed together ?! WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED ?!"

"Oh (y/n) you're finally awake! Please don't scream so suddenly you startled me!" He answered a bit frightened of your sudden screaming.

" N-Neil answer me ! What happened?! Why are we in a bed together!!?"

" You passed out when we were talking at the animal sanctuary. I guess you were just exhausted but don't worry I brought your animals back and took you here with me....and it's not like i did something strange to you while you were asleep".

You looked at him with big eyes. The way he said the last sentence was a bit strange. It sounded like a lie.

"Or....maybe i did do something~" he winked at you slightly amused by your shocked behaviour.

"NEEEEEIL!!! NOOOO you jerk! Stop teasing me!" You screamed as your face went as red as a tomato.

You took the pillow behind you and began to hit Neil with it.

" Jerk ! Jerk! Jerk!" 

He grinned at you and said " Don't worry (y/n) i didn't do anything, it was just too funny seeing you freak out"

Even when he said that you didn't stop hitting him with the pillow. Neil grabbed the pillow , threw it away and pinned your arms above your head. You blushed and looked away.

" (y/n) ...there is something i want to ask you.." He wispered in your ear.

You were still to embarassed to look at him.

"W-what ?" Your heart was beating fast.

"Do you...want to...marry me?"

"N-Neil ?! Why so all of a sudden ?" Your eyes met his and you could clearly see the love in his eyes.

"Because....I realized that i don't want to be without you anymore..I love you more than anything else on this world"

You kissed him on the lips and said

" oh Neil you're so sweet!"

"So , do you want to be mine forever?" He said as he released you out of his grip.

"Sure! I love you like nobody else!".

You laid your head on his chest and he began caressing your hair. The two of you began drifting off in sleep , his every heartbeat audible for you.
