Taeyeon walked along the dusty road searching for scrap metal left on the floor to make tools. She suddenly heard someone coming and jumped into the hole she had dug herself for shelter and protection from gangsters. It was a lawless land and who knows what they would do to her so Taeyeon just hid from any people who passed by the barren land. But Taeyeon was in the hole she realised she wasn't alone.
"Who are you" she cried. Then immediately regretting it as she could still hear men talking near by.
"I could say the same to you" the girl replied.
"I'm the owner of this hole, i dug it myself. Go make your own" Taeyeon said in a more hushed tone.
"You left it and" quickly Taeyeon covered the girl's mouth when she heard the people were coming nearer. She struggled for a few seconds but then realised. They stayed silent sqeezed into a hole made for one.
"Did you hear that? Sounded like a girl" a man's voice said. Taeyeon and the girl locked eyes.
"You're hearing things, you thought you saw one too the other day and it was just a mirage" another laughed.
"You're probably right" he laughed back.
The girls heard the revving of home made motorbikes and soon the sound of them driving away. Taeyeon took her hand off the girl's mouth and finally looked away.
"Can I please stay here?" The girl asked.
"What" Taeyeon said.
"I've got nowhere else to go. Please" she looked pleadingly.
"... Fine" Taeyeon huffed. The girl grinned, her eyes smiling.
"I'm Taeyeon, what's your name?" Taeyeon asked.
"Tiffany" the girl smiled.

"Whatcha dooooin?" Tiffany leaned round Taeyeon.
"I'm trying to fill in this hole" Taeyeon replied pouring dirt into her shelter.
"Why? Where will we sleep?"
"In a new one. I never stay in the same one for too long. I can't stop."
"What why?"
"I'm on a journey to find the safe zone. The sooner I get there the sooner I can live"
"The safe zone? You believe in that?"
"I have to. Anyway are you gonna just stand there or are you gonna help me?"
TIffany smiled and joined in.
"So " Tiffany went on. Taeyeon sighed
"You really never stop talking do you?" she laughed. She proceeded to throw a little dirt at Tiffany, Tiffany gasped. Giggling she threw a bit back. Soon the two were covered with dirt but then
